Posted 4 March 2021 by Keith Osborne

Buyers can now enquire about the apartments for sale at retirement living development Hampton Place in Southampton...

Retirees in Southampton can make the most of their first opportunity to reserve one of the brand new apartments at McCarthy Stone’s Hampton Place Retirement Living development on Anglesea Road in Shirley, as the properties have now been released for off-plan sales.

The one- and two-bedroom apartments are currently under construction, with first homeowners expected to move in during July 2021. Each individual property is designed to meet retirees’ needs, featuring spacious living areas, and high specification kitchens and bathrooms. Selected apartments above ground floor level will feature a balcony, and those at ground floor level will have a private patio area.

The McCarthy Stone team at Hampton Place are now booking one-to-one appointments at its sales office, which is situated at a nearby development, The Boathouse, in Bitterne Park.

Appointments will be managed with the safety of visitors in mind, and all those who attend will receive an information pack which contains a brochure, floorplans, prices, and service charges details. There will also be an opportunity for retirees to make a reservation and secure their stake in Hampton Place.

Nicki Beswarick, divisional marketing manager for McCarthy Stone Southern, said: “We’re very excited to announce that the wait is over for Southampton retirees, and they can now reserve one of the stylish apartments at Hampton Place.

“We have already experienced high levels of demand for these properties, so I would urge interested purchasers to get in touch and book a one-to-one appointment as soon as possible – these will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.”

McCarthy Stone’s Retirement Living developments such as Hampton Place are carefully designed for the over 60s to provide the very best in independent living within a safe and secure environment, with the opportunity to benefit from companionship when desired, as well as privacy when needed.

The running of the development will be overseen by the house manager, who will be available during office hours. For added peace of mind, there will be a 24-hour call system and a camera entry system at the communal front entrance. To ensure accessibility throughout, there will be lifts to all floors.

Prices start at £199,995 for a one-bedroom property and at £334,995 for a two-bedroom home.

More than nine out of 10 customers would recommend McCarthy Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full five-star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 15 years’ running. McCarthy Stone is the only UK housebuilder of any size or type to achieve this accolade for 15 consecutive years, which is every year the awards have been run. The company has also won numerous WhatHouse? Awards, the most prestigious in the UK new homes industry.
