New Show Home Open At Hull Development
WhatHouse? Award-winning housebuilder Lovell Homes has opened the doors to a new show home at The Sycamores in Kirk Ella in Hull.
The show home is a three-bedroom, three-storey “Osbourne” house type, ideal for growing families.
The home features calming tones throughout, the space opens out into a stunning living room featuring hues of teal, gold and grey. The show-stopping family space is brought to life with dazzling light fixtures, art-deco pieces and plush velvet cushions. The theme of tranquillity continues throughout the home, the kitchen-dining room teams statement blue velvet dining chairs with eye-catching tear drop light fixtures.
On the first floor, the space features two well-sized bedrooms and a home office, with a palette of cream, mustard and blue carried through to the stunning bedspreads and striking patterned headboards. The home office has been styled with brass and black detailing, creating a modern and inviting office environment.

Leaving the best for last, the home’s master bedroom offers a real showstopper. Situated on the second floor, the interior team channelled feelings of rich opulence with velvet touches in jewel toned turquoise and mustard, and star beam pendant light fixtures for an added touch of luxury.
Avril Deehan, senior design partner at Classic Interior Design, who designed the new show home at the development says: “We like to start the design process by drawing inspiration from popular trends in fabrics and textures, while also considering the way of life of those who might purchase a home in the area. The Osbourne is a great family home. From large living spaces to extra rooms that can be used for home working, and snug nooks to sit back and relax in after a long day. Although the smaller room can be used as a single bedroom or nursery for growing families, we thought it was important to showcase the space as an office as this is something that since the pandemic, we’re seeing many buyers really value.”
Colette Ben Tarcha, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, says: “Buying a three-storey home has many benefits for a range of house hunters but we know it can be tricky for some to know how to maximise their space across the three floors. Many individuals often buy a house and simply don’t know what to fill it with. The Osbourne is such a beautiful house type that is sold across lots of our developments, and we really wanted to showcase its potential with Avril's amazing interior design. With every show home we create, we’re passionate about creating stunning spaces buyers can step into and visualise themselves living there. Whether it’s the open-plan kitchen-diner to entertain guests, or a master bedroom that radiates the perfect tranquil retreat at the end of a busy day.”

Avril continues: “We wanted to show buyers the potential of the home and how they can best utilise the space in it. From using large sofas to exaggerate how big the living room is, to adding a reading corner with a cosy chair and side table in the master bedroom. We were really keen to show how this three-storey house can be liveable for all. Throughout the house, we included feature walls to show pops of colours and depth. We also used luxury statement pieces in rooms, such as light fittings and fixtures, to show buyers that you can decorate a home for a lifetime, not just a lifestyle.”
For those looking to call The Sycamores home, Lovell Homes is currently offering buyers a twelve-month mortgage contribution up to the value of £1,000 a month as well as free flooring included throughout. The offer is available on selected plots.
The Sycamores’ marketing suite and Osbourne show home are open Thursday to Monday 10.00am till 5.00pm, with viewings available.
