Mortgage Information Event In Corby On Saturday
Posted 24 November 2022 by
Keith OsborneLodge Park Homes is hosting a Mortgage Information Day for house-hunters in the Corby area on Saturday 26 November, between 10.30am to 3.30pm, at its Woodland Chase development.
It’s an opportunity for people looking for a brand new home to speak face-to-face with the financial experts at The Mortgage Brain and learn about a range of mortgages and the process of securing the home of their dreams.
It’s also a chance to take a first-hand look at the development and talk to the Lodge Park Homes team about the development, the homes for sale and things such as options and upgrades.
Furthermore, they can get all the details about the Proportunity initiative. Available to first-time buyers and people who already own a home, it is very similar to Help to Buy, the government scheme that has passed its reservation deadline. With Proportunity, buyers can get a private equity loan of between 10% and 25% of the house value, with a maximum loan of £150,000. The buyer will have to provide a 5% deposit. Interest is payable from day one and like Help to Buy, the amount to repay changes with the value of the property. So if the value has gone up 10% since you purchased it, the amount you’ll need to pay back will also be 10% higher.
Woodland Chase is a collection of 87 private sale two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, located in Priors Hall Park, off London Road.
Among the available homes is ‘The Rose’, from £295,000. It is a semi-detached three-bedroom house type with two sets of French doors to the rear garden – one from the open-plan kitchen/dining room and another from the living room. There’s also a utility room and cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, bedroom one has an en suite shower room and the other two bedrooms can share the family bathroom. The home will be ready to move into by Christmas and is currently offered with flooring included and Stamp Duty paid (terms and conditions apply) and it will be ready to move into for Christmas.
The specification of all homes here includes a range of kitchen options, some built-in appliances, gas-fired central heating, numerous electrical/TV/BT/USB sockets and contemporary design bathroom sanitaryware and fittings. Some plots have electric car charging points and photovoltaic panels.
