Linden Homes has welcomed the first residents to a new housing development in Highfields Caldecote, called All Angels Park.

The first properties to be completed there – a 66-home development in Cambridgeshire – are now occupied, with building work progressing well on site and scheduled to continue for the next year.

The housebuilder is delivering 36 private homes and 30 affordable properties for local people through rent or Shared Ownership at the site. These homes form phase one of the development, where Linden Homes has outline planning permission for a total of 140 new homes. Detailed plans for the remaining 74 homes on the rest of the site were submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council earlier this year and are pending consideration.

Jason Colmer, sales and marketing director of Linden Homes Eastern, said: “We are very pleased to be able to welcome our first residents at All Angels Park and look forward to introducing them to more of their new neighbours in the future as the community grows.

“As we expected, the selection of homes on offer at All Angels Park is proving popular and we have had a lot of enquiries. The range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes is appealing to a mix of purchasers while the development is also located in a very desirable village setting in the peaceful Cambridgeshire countryside, with the historic city of Cambridge just eight miles away.

All Angels Park“Construction is progressing well on the site and we anticipate that work will continue on homes within the first phase for another 12 months or so.

“All Angels Park demonstrates Linden Homes’ commitment to the region in providing much-needed new homes in the area. We are confident that the development will prove to be a positive addition to the village of Highfields Caldecote and have already reached out to the community by donating money to buy two outdoor table tennis tables.”

Linden Homes donated £1,150 to fund the table tennis tables which the parish council installed as part of a scheme to update sports facilities in the village.

There’s a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses currently available to reserve at All Angels Park, where prices start from £331,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached home. Find out more at www.lindenhomes.co.uk.
