New Year Incentive Scheme From Housebuilder In London And South East

Part of an exclusive new year campaign, L&Q has announced a range of incentives across its London and out-of-London developments.

Having helped some 1,301 people onto the property ladder throughout 2022, across 53 developments, L&Q is for a limited time offering a range of deals aimed at helping even more buyers start the new year with a home to call their own. The include a cost contribution of up to £6,000 towards buying costs and a £500 One for All voucher for customers who reserve an L&Q home between now and 31 January 2023.

The incentive is available across many of L&Q’s developments, with homes – many of which are ready to move into now – available through both open market sale and Shared Ownership. The Shared Ownership scheme is an affordable alternative to purchasing a home on the open market, with deposits for L&Q’s homes starting from just £2,850. This government-backed scheme allows purchasers to buy a percentage share of the property and pay rent on the remaining portion (‘part buy-part rent’). Only requiring a deposit and mortgage to cover the purchased share means Shared Ownership has been an incredibly popular route for L&Q buyers throughout 2022.

Part of the wider Western Circus development, which will include over 350 new homes, landscaped communal gardens, a recently opened onsite Lidl supermarket, and community focused spaces, L&Q’s Shared Ownership apartments are available to purchase with exclusive incentives throughout January, including up to £4,500 towards buying costs on two-bedroom homes.

In north-east London, buyers can take advantage of L&Q’s new year offers to secure a new Shared Ownership home at their popular development The Chain in Walthamstow. Located in the heart of this vibrant London borough, The Chain is a collection of contemporary studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, centred around attractive communal gardens, all of which come with private outdoor space. Part of L&Q’s new year campaign offers for The Chain include up to £5,000 toward buying costs on two-bedroom homes.

Purchasers seeking a new home outside the capital need look no further than L&Q at Huntley Wharf, a riverside development in the centre of Reading. Benefitting from the recent expansion of the Elizabeth line to the town, L&Q’s collection of one- and two-bedroom homes offer excellent transport links, with Reading railway station just an 11-minute walk from the development. On the doorstep, homeowners will be able to enjoy the Riverside Square at Huntley Wharf, where proposals include a café, restaurant, local store, gym, nursery and landscaped open space.
