New Range Of Home Types Unveiled At Feniscowles Development

Kingswood Homes has released the first homes from its Homestead Range of house types at Green Hills in Feniscowles.

The properties are a brand new avenue for the developer, who, until now has only sold homes from its Farmstead Range at Green Hills. The Homestead Range has more traditional exteriors with classical finishes compared to the contemporary style of the properties from the other range.

Lesley Myers, sales director at Kingswood Homes, said: “The Homestead Range was designed to celebrate the Georgian period in which Blackburn really boomed as a leading textile production hub. It celebrates the character and vernacular of the towns heritage.

“The first difference with the Homestead homes is that externally, they look much more traditional. They are a mix of red brick, stone and render facings. They also feature tall windows with panes, white window frames, stone windows surrounds and formal door surrounds and porticos.”

Kingswood is also launching an extension to their industry-leading Shape Your Home concept at Green Hills with Shape Your Garden. Customers can choose from a range of landscaped garden styles that will be ready by the time they get the keys.

“Shape Your Home puts the power in our customers hands to create a home layout that works for them and we wanted to extend this bespoke service to their gardens,” added Myers.

For customers who have an existing home to sell, the housebuilder offers Assisted Move. Kingswood Homes organise an independent valuation of a current home as well as arranging high-quality photography to successfully market the property for sale. Once a selling price is agreed, Kingswood Homes then instruct carefully selected partners to market the property and contribute towards the cost of the agent’s fees.
