Kendrick Homes is inviting house-hunters to see the first homes at its latest Shropshire development, Laureate Ley, a £7million scheme in Minsterley.

The housebuilder has broken ground and started work on the first of the development’s 24 two-, three- and four-bedroom properties in a rural location that is just ten miles from Shrewsbury. It is set to appeal to a host of property-seekers, from first-time buyers and families to professionals. With the A5 just seven miles away. It could be an ideal base for anyone who needs to commute yet still enjoy village life.

Work to transform the land at the back of a large property should be completed by the early part of next year and will create a new community within an existing one, with spacious houses and good-sized gardens.

Adam Cadman, marketing manager at Kendrick Homes, commented: “Laureate Ley is a fantastic opportunity to live in a beautiful village that boasts its own pub, primary school and Minsterley Parish – home of the annual Eisteddfod event.

“On the edge of the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve, purchasers can explore the sprawling Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and be in Shrewsbury in 15 minutes…enjoying all of its bars, restaurants and its unique retail offering.

“The site is also really suitable for keyworkers that work at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, which can be easily reached within 20 minutes.”

Every home on Laureate Ley has contemporary bathrooms and en s uites come as standard, with the latest kitchens, a host of energy-efficient features and superfast fibre broadband all among the benefits buyers can enjoy. One example is ‘The Westley’, from £289,950, which has a well-proportioned U-shaped kitchen/dining space, makes for a pleasant entertaining area. The large living room has plenty of space while double doors lead to the rear garden. There’s also a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs are three bedrooms, with the largest having an en suite. The other two bedrooms, a single and double, are completed by a well-designed family bathroom.

Prices at Laureate Lea currently start at £229,500. Find out more from Kendrick Homes.
