Launch Of Phase Four Of Scarborough Development
Award-winning housebuilder Kebbell has reported booming pre-launch sales of the 106-home fourth phase of its Scarborough development, Cornelian Fields, with ten homes snapped up before the show home even opened in late February.
Situated in Middle Deepdale, three miles south of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, the homes on offer vary from 960 sq ft to 1,212 sq ft and are competitively priced between £209,950 for a three-bedroom home to £264,950 for a four-bedroom home. All the two-bedroom properties in the fourth phase have already been reserved. Parking, underfloor heating and extensive storage come as standard to all homes.
Linda Tillisch, Northern region sales manager at Kebbell, said: “We are delighted that Cornelian Fields has been such a runaway success as demand continually outstrips supply. This is a new bustling, friendly community with modern facilities, just to the south of the seaside town of Scarborough. The neighbourhood has footpaths and cycle routes, a lovely play park and bus routes to local amenities. There are two beaches within walking distance of Cornelian Fields; Cayton Bay beach is a sandy beach with dramatic cliffs and Cornelian Bay is a rocky beach, perfect for rock pooling.”
Cornelian Fields comprised 125 homes in the first three phases. The first four phases together comprise 231 homes and plans for phase five at Scarborough are already fully underway, with build expected to start in 2022.
In light of their success in the region, Kebbell is pursuing various planning and development opportunities in a number of areas including Gainford, near Darlington, as well as further opportunities in Bishop Monkton were they built in 2019.
Andrea Fawell, Kebbell’s sales and marketing director, commented: “Yorkshire has a special place in our hearts as a business and we have been building homes and communities in the area for many years now. We have also enjoyed being part of the Skills Village that exists in Scarborough and many of our sub-contractors have successfully trained and recruited young tradespeople who now work on our homes.”
