WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year Hill is unveiling a luxury show home at its Mosaics development this weekend...

Now 95% sold and into the final phase of homes, award-winning housebuilder Hill’s successful Oxford-based development, Mosaics, is set to unveil a brand-new show home – part of the newly launched ‘Elsworth’ collection.

Launching on Saturday 18 September, the ‘Elsworth’ is a showcase of one of the outstanding four-bedroom family homes where prospective purchasers can experience for themselves the enviable lifestyle the iconic city of Oxford has to offer as well as a beautiful new home. Furthermore, pay a visit to the new show home between 12.00pm and 4.00pm and you will also be able to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at Hill’s launch event – with live music and entertainment.

Designed for modern family living, the ‘Elsworth’s are a collection of eight meticulously designed four-bedroom townhouses at the heart of Rowcroft Park. Overlooking the lush green corridor of the Greenway and a short walk from the development’s tranquil Bayswater Brook, Mosaics offers a truly unique destination to live. The new show home, aptly named ‘The Elsworth’, offers an impressive 2,200 sq ft of accommodation set across three floors, ensuring busy families will have plenty of space to enjoy. The ground floor features a spacious entrance hall that leads to a utility room and downstairs cloakroom, through to a 25ft open-plan kitchen/dining/family room. From here residents have direct access to a generous rear garden – making this the ideal space for entertaining, relaxing of an evening or enjoying time together as a family. A double length integral garage completes this floor.

MosaicsLetty Walton, interior designer for Suna Interior Design, commented: “Our design inspiration for ‘The Elsworth’ was to create a theme that is both luxurious and playful; something that would cater for all the family. We chose a colour palette of elegant emerald green that beautifully complements mustard yellow, which is tempered with off-whites and soft greys. Accents of brass finishes in furniture pieces adds a sophisticated feel which has been offset by fun and playful elements for family life like the chalk wall in the kitchen, the ping pong table set up on the balcony and vibrant and playful wallpapers throughout the house.

“The family room makes an impactful impression whilst at the same time acting as a functional room for the family. A bench seating solution for the dining area has a beautiful wallpaper as a backdrop with an elegant, curved sofa for the soft seating area. A luxurious and peaceful haven has been created for the principal bedroom; sitting on the top floor it features a rich, velvet green, full-height fluted headboard and a wallpaper panel triptych is framed with gold beading on the back wall to create a sense of understated drama.”

The first floor comprises a spacious living room that leads onto a decked terrace. Bedrooms three and four are spacious, bright and enjoy views overlooking the Greenway. A separate study makes a great home office or games/TV room for the younger members of the household and a separate shower room on this floor ensures the master suites on the upper floor are a tranquil hideaway from the rest of the house.

MosaicsThe second floor hosts two generous principal suites, both with en suite bathrooms. Bedroom one is the larger of the two and features an elegant layout with a cleverly defined dressing area with fitted wardrobes that leads into the ensuite and bedroom two offers the ideal room for visiting guests or family to stay. Families seeking a distinct home that ticks the wish list for everyone, the ‘Elsworth’ collection could be the ideal choice.

Locally there is plenty to occupy family life. The vibrant city of Oxford is just a few miles from home and offers everything you would expect from a thriving city centre – niche boutiques, independent shops, cafés, charming delicatessens and well-loved high-street brands ensure residents can indulge in a spot of retail therapy or a coffee with friends. A selection of museums, theatres and galleries offer a cultural day out to learn more about the area’s local heritage and a selection of bars, restaurants and cinemas offer the perfect option for an evening out.

Commuters are well catered for. The onsite Park and Ride bus service provides seamless links to the city centre, whilst Oxford station and Oxford Parkway station are within easy reach and provide access to the city centre, London and Manchester. The M40 is easily reached via car and provides connections to the wider motorway network and links to London. Convenient and secure onsite cycle parking is available throughout the development and allows residents to easily access Oxford’s extensive network of cycle routes placing Oxford city centre, Oxford station and Oxford Parkway a short bike ride away.

Prices for one of the four-bedroom ‘Elsworth’ homes start from £914,950. Find out more about Mosaics from Hill.
