New Cambridgeshire Community Growing With Farmers Market Launch
Residents at the Marleigh development. Located to the east of Cambridge and bringing 1,300 much-needed homes to the region, will be celebrating the launch for a Farmers Market on Saturday 24 April.
In collaboration with Farmers Fayres, housebuilder Hill, current WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year, will be hosting the first farmers market on site, which will be offering a huge variety of food and drink products from goat’s cheese to seasonal game, soft drinks to smoked fish. The market will be held between 9.00am and 1.00pm and is open to those of all ages. Furthermore, interested buyers will be given the opportunity to discover more about this exciting collection of homes at the sites marketing suite.
Located on the outskirts of Cambridge city centre, Marleigh is a collection of studio, one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom properties – catering for a whole spectrum of house-hunters.
Bordered by open fields, the contemporary development has been creating a vibrant new community and will soon benefit from an onsite market square, primary school, sports pitches, park and community centre.
Rebecca Littler, group sales and marketing director, commented: “We are pleased to invite the local community to Marleigh for this exciting event. Following all government guidance and with social distancing measures in place, this is a great opportunity for families to escape their homes and support local businesses whilst also discovering all that this fantastic development is offering to its residents and existing community.”
Visitors are encouraged to park in the neighbouring Newmarket Road Park and Ride car park. For further information on the event please call 01223 827841.
Prices for apartments at Marleigh start from £264,950 and benefit from the Help to Buy: Equity Loan. Houses start from £434,950 and all properties benefit from the government's Stamp Duty holiday, currently scheduled to finish at the end of June 2021.
