First Look Inside At Development In Southwell

Keith OsborneThe interior of an exclusive new housing development in Southwell, Nottingham has been revealed in a show home by estate agent Gascoines.
The Rise, which is being marketed by the Nottinghamshire-based estate agent and Pygott & Crone, comprises 38 properties, a mix of two- and three-bedroom homes and apartments.
The two-bedroom homes offer plenty of living space with a light and spacious kitchen and dining area, generous-sized bedrooms, and a family bathroom. A selection of the three-bedroom homes come complete with a sizeable lounge, an open-plan kitchen/dining area, cloakroom and utility room on the ground floor, and upstairs a family bathroom and an en suite in the principal bedroom
The development officially opened in August and is being delivered by a joint venture partnership between contractor nmcn plc and developer Stagfield Group, with the first release of homes this year.
Pat Nightingale, sales director at Blocc Limited and interior designer at The Rise, said: “We wanted to create a luxurious show home that would appeal to a wider market of potential buyers within a fantastic location. I chose a background palette that was light and neutral with splashes of navy, taupe and grey and blush in the soft furnishings, window treatments and bespoke artwork. The kitchen and dining area is a great space with ample room for a good-sized dining table, which we dressed for a family setting. We also paid particular attention to the beautiful arched windows in the lounge and emphasised the unusual shape with bespoke blinds and curtains.”
Jess Mitchell, office manager at Gascoines, said: “We’re really excited to be revealing the inside of the development. We’ve worked closely with Stagfield, ncmn and Pygott & Crone to ensure the properties deliver on design and provide comfortable living spaces for potential homebuyers.”
Gascoines will be operating an appointment-only system every weekend from Friday to Sunday and customers can book a viewing for The Rise either online or by phone.
Managing director at Stagfield Group, Kevin Hard, added: “We are passionate about creating developments where people want to live, and the interiors really showcase what The Rise has to offer. Southwell is a hugely popular market town with significant demand for high quality homes and we look forward to welcoming potential buyers.”
A number of homes will be available to purchase off-plan, with prices starting from £265,000. The scheme will also include apartments, which are priced from £199,000 and Help to Buy and Part Exchange schemes will also be available.
