Retirement property for sale in Nottinghamshire

The county town is Nottingham, an impressive city with its great shopping and selection of bars and cafes and two universities which make for a lively student population. Other major towns include Newark, Worksop, Southwell, Hucknall, Bingham and Mansfield. There is a wide choice of new build properties and new homes for sale.

There are great transport links, with the M1, A56 and A42 running through the county, while East Midlands airport is also not far away, located just outside Leicester. East Midlands Trains run north and south into and out of the county and cross country to Cardiff.

Nottingham has more sports facilities than any other European city, some of which are home to top sporting teams like Nottingham Forest Football Club and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.

  Monthly Budget
Our monthly budget search provides a monthly cost estimate for the different ownership options available to you. These range from ‘outright purchase’, ‘shared ownership’ and ‘rent’ options. As with any property purchase you should seek independent financial advice.

For outright purchase the monthly mortgage cost estimate is based on an interest only mortgage at a 5.95% annual interest rate, over 25 years with a 10% deposit.

For ‘shared ownership’ the monthly cost is based on an interest only mortgage rate of 5.95% per annum over 25 years with annual interest of 2.75% on the unsold share.

For ‘rent’ the monthly cost is based on the rental from the landlord or Build to Rent organisation who owns the property.
