The Latest Collection Of Apartments Available In Aldershot

David Wilson Homes has released a new collection of apartments at its Bruneval Gardens development...

First-time buyers and downsizers in Aldershot now have more options for their progress on the property ladder following the launch of a collection of new apartments at the David Wilson Homes development, Bruneval Gardens.

Located on Pennefather’s Road, in the north-west of the town, there are now more contemporary one- and two-bedroom homes available to reserve, known as the Lancer Apartments, ideal for those looking for a manageable, maintenance-free property.

The development is just a mile away from Aldershot train station, which provides a regular, direct, 45-minute service to Clapham Junction where equivalent properties might cost nearly double what they do in the town. A two-bedroom apartment at Bruneval Gardens starts at £284,000, with general prices starting at £219,000.

Rob Allen, sales director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “We’re thrilled to have launched our new apartments at Bruneval Gardens as they are well-suited to those looking to stay close to London in a manageable property.

“We’re not surprised by the demand for apartment living in the area because of its convenience and flexibility as this suits a range of different homebuyers.

“A fine living experience awaits residents at the development with nearby facilities in Wellesley, Aldershot and Farnham, complemented wonderfully by the balance of rural and town living.”

The housebuilder recently announced that has extended its special incentive where it contributes up to £15,000 to purchases by NHS and Armed Forces buyers – the latter particular apt in a town with a considerable military heritage.

House-hunters can also ask about Home Reach, available on selected homes at this development, where they can purchase a 50% share of their home and pay rent on the remainder. This scheme is great for those on a modest budget as the saving and income requirements for a deposit and mortgage are far less than buying on the open market.
