Bedhampton Housebuilder’s Seasonal Decoration Tips

David Wilson Homes has teamed up with some professional interior designers to offer advice on Christmas decorations...

David Wilson Homes has teamed up with interior designers to give homeowners some decoration tips this Christmas, and all products can be sourced easily from local stores.

The housebuilder – part of Barratt Developments, which won a WhatHouse? Award for Best Large Housebuilder just last week – has joined forces with Andrew Henry interiors to provide an online look at its ‘Archford’ show home at Harbour Place in Bedhampton, complete with added sparkle.

Interior designer Lucy Thorn talks through the current trends used as inspiration for the three-bedroom show home and explains how homeowners can find similarly festive decorations on the high street.

She said: “In this wonderful David Wilson show home, we are highlighting just how easy it can be to decorate your home for Christmas. All products we’ve used here can be bought from local high-street retailers.

“And, keeping in line with this year’s key trends, we’ve incorporated a lot of earthy tones, such as green, orange and burgundy, and a variety of textures.”

Lucy goes on to talk about how the design industry is changing, and how sustainability is proving to be much more important.

She added: “A lot of the suppliers we are using are producing products from recycled fabric and plastics or via sustainable sources. This is something that is becoming more and more important.”

Along with Christmas tips and design advice, David Wilson Homes is also providing something extra special to potential buyers this festive season. Over the next four weeks in the lead up to Christmas, David Wilson Homes will be unwrapping a new offer on its ‘Archford’ properties across the region. Every new deal will be announced at the start of each week and will include contribution towards Stamp Duty, inclusive window and light fittings, a free personal interior design consultation and many upgrade offers.

Tammy Bishop, David Wilson Homes sales director for its Southampton division, is urging homebuyers in the region to take advantage of the festive deals before they miss out.

She said: “With a range of Christmas offers available, I urge homebuyers to act now before it’s too late. And, with our friends at Andrew Henry giving our ‘Archford’ show home at Harbour Place a Christmas makeover, buyers have the chance to take a sneaky peak at this stylish home for themselves.”

The ‘Archford’ show home is a three-bedroom property which comes with a spacious lounge and open-plan kitchen and dining area with French doors to the garden. Upstairs there is a main bedroom with an en suite, a further double bedroom, a single bedroom and family bathroom.

Prices here start at £379,000. Find out more about Harbour Place from David Wilson Homes.
