Summer Launch Lined Up In Goffs Oak
Crest Nicholson has announced that the first phase of a brand new development in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire, will be officially released this summer.
When complete, Regents Brook will be a mix of 50 new homes. The first phase will consist of 30 properties for private sale, a variety of two- to five-bedroom properties, providing a range of options for prospective homeowners who seek semi-rural living whilst being in close proximity to London.
The range of eight available house types at the development will all feature flexible layouts, with open-plan kitchen/dining areas, modern interiors, and high-quality finishings throughout. The character of the development is influenced by existing properties in the area, ensuring it blends seamlessly with the local architecture.
One of the available house types includes the ‘Cromer’, a two-bedroom property perfect for first-time buyers. The home features a spacious ground floor with a dedicated kitchen-dining area, plus a separate living room with French doors leading directly out to the garden, filling the room with natural light. Also available at Regents Brook will be the four bedroom ‘Winkfield’, a generously sized family home, providing ample space for entertaining, relaxing, and homeworking. Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms, with the main featuring an en suite bathroom, whilst the remaining bedrooms share a family bathroom.
Karen Coulson, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Eastern, commented: “We are excited to launch our new development, Regents Brook, which is set to be a thriving new community in Hertfordshire. Thanks to the development’s prime position, within easy reach of London yet also set in a village location, it will be popular with a range of prospective buyers including families looking to benefit from a balance of cosmopolitan and countryside living. To help prospective buyers, we have a range of schemes available with selected properties including Deposit Unlock and our Part Exchange and SmoothMove schemes. Interest is already high ahead of our launch, so we would advise anyone interested to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
Regents Brook will provide both cycle and pedestrian routes which connect the development to the wider area and, once complete, the development will feature a local centre, primary school, care home, a park along Rags Brook as well as improved recreational, leisure and sporting facilities.
Goffs Oak is home to a number of pubs and restaurants, with residents also benefitting from a range of facilities located in nearby Cheshunt, including shops and supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s. For families, The Goffs Oak Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is a five-minute drive away, in addition to a number of primary and secondary schools in neighbouring Cheshunt and Broxbourne, such as the Broxbourne School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
In addition, the neighbouring village of Cuffley has shops and restaurants including Costa Coffee, and the Plough, a Victorian pub. There are plenty of community facilities such as Cuffley village hall, a local library, a football club and King George V Fields, which is a large sports and leisure facility with open space. There are a range of schools all rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, including Cuffley Hill Preschool, Cuffley School and Ponsbourne St Mary’s C of E Primary school in Newgate Street Village.
Both Cuffley and Cheshunt train stations are within three miles of the development and provide direct connections to London in under 30 minutes. The development is ideally situated near both the M25 and A10, providing access for those travelling by car to into and around London and the surrounding areas.
