Posted 11 January 2021 by Keith Osborne

Crest Nicholson is giving buyers a chance to register their interest in new homes coming to Hertfordshire and Hampshire...

Crest Nicholson is letting house-hunters know about launches of brand new developments taking place in Hertfordshire and Hampshire – perfect choices for people who want the value-for-money of living outside London but with easy access when needed.

Very soon is the imminent unveiling of Willow Place in Welwyn Garden City, which will comprise a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses to suit a wide audience of property seekers. One- and two-bedroom apartments will also be offered at a later date.

Situated in one of the country's first 'Garden Cities', residents will enjoy an attractive town made up of tree-lined boulevards and wide grass verges, plus a range of amenities on the doorstep, from schooling to healthcare and shopping.

Each home at Willow Place features luxurious specification, with stylish, fully integrated kitchens, and contemporary bathroom suites. The development is also within close proximity of good local primary and secondary schools, such as Harwood Hill Junior Mixed Infant and Nursery School, which is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The town centre and well-connected railway station are only 1.3 miles away.

In addition, the development is situated just a ten-minute walk from The Lagoon lake and gardens, which boasts a wide expanse of open green space and mature trees, along with Welwyn Garden City Football Club and the Panshanger Golf Complex.

David Hnyda, head of sales and marketing at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, commented: “We are excited to be launching our development at Willow Place, which will be a modern, thriving community in this scenic town. A show home will be available to view from mid-February, and the new government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme and Part Exchange will be available on a number of plots at the development. We advise interested purchasers to get in contact with our friendly sales team to book a viewing appointment to avoid disappointment.”

Prices for a two-bedroom house start from £389,950. Three-bedroom houses will be available from £469,950 and four-bedroom houses from £524,950.

Looking ahead to April, the housebuilder Crest Nicholson will unveil 158 two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes at its new development, Fernhurst, in Hawley, Hampshire.

It’s a range that will provide options for first-time buyers, families and downsizers looking for a modern home in a countryside setting. Crafted to complement the town’s surroundings and built using traditional materials, all these properties are set across two storeys, feature flexible layouts and contemporary interiors, open-plan living/dining areas, integrated appliances and high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Bedrooms come in generous sizes and there will be ample space for a study – great for those working from home. Buyers will also benefit from private gardens.

Both Camberley and Farnborough town centres less than a 15-minute drive away, offering residents an excellent array of restaurants, high street retailers, cafes and pubs. There are also a number of leisure complexes offering endless entertainment for any age. Hawley Meadows and Blackwater Park are a short walk away, best for enjoying fresh air and outdoor activities with friends and family. For those with young or growing families, Fernhurst is located near an array of schools, including Grange Community Junior School, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, and Hawley Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Eileen Guihen, head of sales and marketing at Crest Nicholson South, commented: “We are thrilled to launch our newest development in Hawley. With a range of flexible layouts and Crest Nicholson’s high-quality finishes, we’re expecting the properties at Fernhurst to be very popular with first-time buyers, families and downsizers. Located in a quaint Hampshire town and within good proximity to the thriving community of Hawley, residents will have access to superb neighbouring towns and excellent amenities on Fernhurst’s doorstep. As a result, we’re anticipating a strong demand for homes and would recommend purchasers register their interest with our sales executives ahead of launch.”

In addition to a range of amenities, residents will benefit from nearby transport connections both by road and rail. The development is situated off the M3, which allows easy access to London, Basingstoke and the M25, while nearby Farnborough train station offers direct services to London Waterloo in just 34 minutes.

Select homes will be available to purchase through the government’s new Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, or Crest Nicholson’s Part Exchange and SmoothMove schemes.
