Crest Nicholson has launched the first phase of homes at its new Montague Point development...

Crest Nicholson has launched Montague Point, which offers a collection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes in the historic county town of Warwick.

The first phase will consist of 121 homes from Crest Nicholson’s new range of house types with 40% of the new properties designated as affordable housing. Each home includes a number of sustainable features and has been specially designed to improve heat retention and reduce energy consumption. The efficient new design also cuts down on material waste and reduces the build time.

As part of the new range, the two-bedroom ‘Ashstead’ is ideal for first time buyers, The home features an open-plan living/dining area, designed to maximise space, with French doors leading to the garden. Upstairs, the main bedroom features a built-in cupboard and contemporary en suite.

For families requiring some additional room to grow, the four-bedroom ‘Marlborough’ house type includes an expansive kitchen/dining area with additional living space, making it the perfect multi-functional area for entertaining. The ground floor also includes a utility room and French doors that open out onto the garden.

Vanessa MacNee, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Midlands, commented: “We are excited to launch Montague Point in the prime location of Warwick this November. The collection of homes from Crest Nicholson’s new range of house types are designed for busy, modern life, featuring flexible living spaces and generously sized bedrooms. Built with sustainability in mind, they will also help homeowners to reduce their carbon emissions and energy costs.

“With so many local amenities nearby as well as a strong community environment, we are already seeing a lot of interest in this development ahead of the launch. I would encourage interested buyers to get in touch with our sales team as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

With its picturesque canalside setting, Montague Point offers residents the chance to enjoy endless walks along the waterways. The development is ideally located for buyers to experience the range of activities available both in Warwick and the surrounding area. Golf courses and local parks follow the route of the river and the historic Warwick Castle, with its Norman roots, is an excellent day out for groups of all ages.

The new development is just a 20-minute walk into Warwick town centre, where residents can enjoy a wide range of eateries and other amenities. Ideal for families, the area is also well served by a number of local primary and secondary schools and the University of Warwick, the 8th-highest ranked university in the UK, is just a 10-minute drive away.

With the A46 Warwick Bypass nearby, commuters will have easy access to Coventry in the north and Stratford-upon-Avon in the south. The M40 also facilitates journeys to Birmingham in an hour and London in two and a half hours, while Warwick train station provides direct services to London Marylebone in an hour and a half, and Birmingham in less than 30 minutes.

Select homes will be available to purchase using the government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan Scheme, as well as Crest Nicholson’s Part Exchange and Smooth Move schemes. Find out more about Crest Nicholson developments across the West Midlands region.
