Posted 11 May 2021 by Keith Osborne

House-hunters are invited to book a chance to take a first-hand look at the site and show home at Alconbury Weald...

Crest Nicholson is hosting a special hard hat event at its popular Alconbury Weald development in Huntingdon on Saturday 15 May.

Here, house-hunters will have an opportunity to don a hard hat and have a private tour of the four bedroom ‘Archer’ townhouse being constructed, with the sales executives as a guide. The event, which will run from 10.00am to 5.00pm, will be by appointment only.

Karen Coulson, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Eastern, commented: “Our hard hat events are very popular with potential purchasers as it allows them to come down to the construction site and get a real feel of the house. It’s an ideal opportunity for those wanting to learn all about the fantastic location of the development and its flourishing community. We’d urge anyone who wants to participate to get in touch with our friendly sales executives at Alconbury Weald to book their tour of the ‘Archer’ townhouse.”

Surrounded by hundreds of acres of open space, residents at Alconbury Weald will have access to a range of existing amenities, including a brand new primary school, café, gym and cricket pavilion. Building work for a secondary school is also currently underway, with an anticipated opening date of September 2023. Alongside various shops and services, there will also be new health and community centres, with one million square feet of business space already completed.

A series of cycle and walking routes throughout the development provide connectivity for those keen to enjoy an active lifestyle. For residents looking to travel or commute to nearby hubs, the development is within easy reach of the A1 and A14. This provides easy access to the Cambridge Guided Busway which offers links to Huntingdon, St Ives and Cambridge. Huntingdon station is also just a 15 minute drive from the development, offering trains to London King’s Cross within an hour.

Prices for a brand new four-bedroom home at Alconbury Weald start from £360,000. Select properties are available on Crest Nicholson’s Part Exchange scheme or the government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme. The homes will be ready to move into summer/autumn 2021. For more information, visit the sales suite which is open Thursday to Monday from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
