New Homes Soon To Be Launched In Deddington

Posted 14 January 2022 by Keith Osborne

Burrington Estates is about to launch 14 Cotswold-inspired homes at Hempton Gate in the market town of Deddington...

This month, Burrington Estates will be launching off-plan its latest development, Hempton Gate, in the Oxfordshire market town on Deddington, just a short distance from Banbury and the Cotswolds AONB.

Located on Hempton Road at the edge of Deddington and surrounded by rolling fields, the 14 new private sale homes at Hempton Gate will be traditional in design with classic Cotswold-style architecture, with many built from local stone. Offering two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts, all properties will feature the superior specification of which Burrington Estates is renowned. All homes have been carefully designed to incorporate spacious, light and airy interiors and energy saving features for comfortable modern living.

Daniel Radford of selling agents Mark David commented: “What Burrington is creating in Deddington is something quite rare for the area but very desirable – a small scale development in a great location where the quality really speaks for itself. Ahead of the launch, we already have huge interest in these homes so anyone that is interested should be prepared to act quickly in January.”

Burrington Estates has established its reputation by creating and delivering a highly successful collection of new homes developments across Devon, Cornwall and the South West of England. In 2021 the company established a new division for Central England and the Home Counties. Deddington will be the second development under the new division, following the recent launch of a collection of homes in Binfield.

A representative at Burrington Estates commented: “Our development of new homes in Deddington will have wide appeal, offering luxurious, low maintenance living in an attractive, peaceful setting. The choice of homes on offer means there will be something to suit everyone, including families and downsizers. Deddington is sought-after area to live within north Oxfordshire, and we believe our properties bring a distinct quality and specification to what is already a fantastic location to call home. There is already strong anticipation for the launch, so we urge interested buyers to register their interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

Burrington Estates has carefully designed the homes to reflect the distinctive local character and complement the setting, using a palette of traditional materials including Heritage brick, stone and slate. Some of the larger houses have detached garages, while features such as covered porches, chimneys and painted joinery give a timeless style. New tree planting and landscaping will enhance the rural feel and support wildlife, along with the preservation of existing hedgerows, while a new footpath link will provide pedestrian connections into town and the surrounding area. When it comes to the interiors, all homes will feature Burrington Estates’ signature premium specification, including energy-efficient underfloor heating and sleek contemporary kitchens fitted with a range of high-quality appliances.

Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, Deddington is a great place to live, combining the tranquillity of the Oxfordshire countryside with convenient access to Banbury, Oxford and Chipping Norton. The town is small but perfectly formed, with an excellent choice of everyday facilities including local shops, cafés, two pubs and an excellent primary school, Deddington CofE Primary School. There is a strong sense of community with many local clubs and groups, as well as a renowned monthly farmers’ market. Hempton Gate is situated directly opposite the park, playground, tennis club and community centre, making it the ideal location for families.

The surrounding area has many local attractions, with Bicester Village 20 minutes away and glamorous hotspot Soho Farmhouse only a ten-minute drive away. Travel is easy with junction 10 of the M40 just a few miles away, whilst for rail connections, Banbury station is six miles away, from where the journey time into London Marylebone is around an hour.
