Property Provider Launches Its Largest Development In Gloucestershire

Bromford is building Merret Place in Winchcombe, with a wide selection of affordable and open-market new homes...

In collaboration with Adams Estate Agents, new homes provider Bromford is launching a range of brand new homes in Winchcombe, in its largest Bromford-built scheme to date.

Merret Place, situated on Delavale Road, is a collection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, built entirely by Bromford, some of which are available through Shared Ownership.

Shared Ownership gives first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a property the opportunity to secure a new build home. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own, and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required.

The 50 homes for affordable rent and Shared Ownership and 50 homes available for outright sale that comprise Merret Place will be officially available to purchase off-plan through Adams Estate Agents in Winchcombe.

One of these new homes is ‘The Swift’, a spacious, three-bedroom detached home, ideal for both couples and young families, which offers an open-plan design, including the modern fitted kitchen and living/dining area. There are French doors opening straight onto a private rear garden, and a convenient guest cloakroom. Upstairs, the main bedroom comes with an en suite, and the two other bedrooms are versatile and could be to be transformed into a home office for remote working, or a hobby room. Outside, there is a single garage with two parking spaces alongside an electric vehicle charging point.

Catherine Jarrett, director of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “Winchcombe is a fantastic area with an intriguing mix of history and community with many lovely rural walks on its doorstep. All of the homes are built to a high specification, and we expect them to be incredibly popular. We would highly recommend any who is interested to get in touch right away to avoid missing out on a great home.”

Winchcombe is a market town nestled in the Cotswolds, with Tewkesbury and Cheltenham both within ten miles and accessible by both road and rail. Merret Place is located in the heart of the town, providing new home buyers with access to amenities including independent shops, high-quality schools, the Winchcombe Museum and places to play and socialise.
