First Residents Arrive At Witham Development
Posted 25 February 2021 by
Keith OsborneThe first residents have now moved into their new homes at a development which is taking shape on the northern edge of Witham.
Bellway is building 58 homes at Bluebells, off Rickstones Road, Rivenhall, with the first four properties now completed and occupied.
The development, which spans 5.8 acres, comprises 41 two- and three-bedroom houses for private sale alongside 17 homes available as affordable homes for local people through rent or Shared Ownership.
Having launched Bluebells in September last year, Bellway has now sold three-quarters of the private homes off-plan.
Jenny Walker, sales director for Bellway Essex, said: “Now that the first few residents have moved into their new homes at Bluebells, we can see a new neighbourhood begin to form here.
“The majority of those purchasing here are those taking their initial steps onto the property ladder. First-time buyers appreciate the great value for money, ideal house sizes and excellent commuter links that the development offers. Witham train station is within walking distance, while the nearby A12 provides easy access to both Chelmsford and Colchester.
“We are making great progress with the build, and with so many of the homes now sold off-plan, we are looking forward to more residents moving to the development and seeing the community continue to grow.”
There is a selection of two- and three-bedroom homes currently available to buy at Bluebells, with prices starting from £317,995.
