Final Three Homes Released At Gloucestershire Scheme

Posted 2 March 2021 by Keith Osborne

There's just one two-bedroom home and two four-bedroom show houses left for sale at Bellway's Springfields at Hunts Grove...

Construction is nearing the final stages at a new housing development in Hardwicke which has already provided more than 100 new homes for the local area. Bellway is building 125 new homes at Springfields at Hunts Grove, where the final three houses have now been released for sale.

The last homes remaining for sale are the two-bedroom ‘Charfield’ design and two four-bedroom detached show homes – the ‘Wilcott’ and the ‘Walton’. Both the show homes have generous living accommodation on the ground floor – the ‘Wilcott’ with a separate kitchen, dining room and living room and the ‘Walton’ with an open-plan kitchen/dining room and a living room – while upstairs there’s an en suite shower room to the master bedroom of both homes.

Carly Maidment, sales manager for Bellway, said: “Springfields at Hunts Grove has been a very popular development, especially with first-time buyers using the Help to Buy scheme. Buyers have been drawn to the development’s attractive setting near the picturesque Cotswolds and just five miles from Gloucester city centre.

“The location is ideal for buyers looking to be close to nature but also able to access work and leisure facilities easily.”

Help to Buy enables first-time buyers to secure a new-build home with a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is provided in the form of a government-backed equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years. Homes eligible under the scheme at Springfields at Hunts Grove must be under the South West regional price cap of £349,000.

Bellway is delivering 125 new two-, three- and four-bedroom homes at Springfields at Hunts Grove, with 101 already occupied. With just 24 homes left to build, the housebuilder expects construction work will be completed by September.

Maidment said: “Springfields has quickly become a vibrant community of growing families and professionals, which is no surprise due to the beautiful craftsmanship of the homes and the excellent transport links with Gloucester, Bristol and Birmingham.

“There’s also a new school opposite the development and public open space, while there’s a good choice of shops within easy reach, making it a great place for buyers to establish a new home.”

Prices for the final homes start from £214,995 for the two-bedroom Charfield. Prices for the show homes are yet to be confirmed.
