West Scotland Buyers Showing Keen Part Exchange Interest
Posted 29 December 2020 by
Keith OsborneWith the property chain always a risk to house-hunters selling a current home to buy a new one, ‘second-steppers’ welcome the offer of Part Exchange to remove the risk of things falling through, as Barratt Developments is discovering at developments across the west of Scotland.
Under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, the company buys the existing property, removing the need to use estate agents and pay their fees, but the housebuilder also pays a fair value for the home, allowing buyers a chain free transition to their brand new property. Once the sale is agreed, the buyer can approach their lender to conclude the purchase of their new home. This initiative applies to buyers of a new home where construction of the home is complete, or due for completion within eight weeks.
Part Exchange is available across many of the housebuilder’s developments across the west of Scotland:
