Housebuilder Hosts Its First-Ever ‘Help To Buy Wales Roadshow’ In South Wales
Barratt Developments South Wales has today (13 April 2023) revealed details of its first-ever Help to Buy – Wales Roadshow, which will visit developments in South Wales between Saturday 15 April and Saturday 6 May.
The series of events will celebrate the extension of Help to Buy – Wales, which will now run until 2025, with a higher price cap of £300,000 on eligible new-build properties, in line with average house prices in Wales.
Attended by Help to Buy – Wales experts and independent mortgage advisors and the Barratt sales teams, the drop-in events will run between 12.00pm and 4.00pm, providing prospective buyers with the opportunity to ask questions and seek free advice over a cup of tea.
The Roadshow will be travelling to sites across South Wales, starting at Brunel Quarter, Chepstow (Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April) before moving on to Nant Y Castell, Caldicot (Saturday 22 April) and Hanbury Locks, Cwmbran (Sunday 23 April).
The Roadshow will then head to the Vale of Glamorgan, visiting Parc Fferm Wen, St Athan (Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April) and end at brand-new Swansea development, Pentref Llewelyn (Saturday 6 May).
Richard Lawson, sales director at Barratt Developments South Wales, said: “Stepping onto the property ladder for the first time is an exciting milestone, and we want to help make this process as straightforward as possible for prospective buyers. We have a variety of schemes available to help support buyers, including Help to Buy – Wales, and we welcome anyone to come along to find out more and ask any questions they might have about the house-buying process – no matter how big or small.
“Having recently been awarded the maximum five stars in the annual Home Builders Federation New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey — for a record-breaking 14th year in a row — we take pride in the quality of services we provide, and hope our roadshow will help even more buyers realise their ambition of becoming a homeowner.”
Since its launch in January 2014, Help to Buy – Wales has helped 13,405 buyers purchase a new-build home, of which, nearly 80% were first-time buyers stepping onto the property ladder for the first time.
