Scottish Housebuilder Celebrates Five-Star Rating

Barratt Developments Scotland, which builds under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, is celebrating recently receiving the maximum five-star rating for the 14th consecutive year in the new Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey.

The HBF New Homes Survey is one of the largest surveys of its type in the country and the ratings are based on responses from over 60,000 people who bought their brand new home in the year ending September 2022. The number of stars a housebuilder receives is based on customer responses to the question “Would you recommend your builder to a friend?” For Barratt to have been awarded five stars means that over 90% of its customers would answer ‘Yes’ to this question.

Stewart Baseley, executive chairman of the Home Builders Federation (HBF), said: “Providing a customer experience that results in 90% of consumers recommending you is a fantastic achievement for Barratt Homes.”
