Barratt Homes is hosting an open event this weekend (Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May) for Cambridgeshire house-hunters to view the final six apartments at The Courtyard within its established Darwin Green development.

There is a final one-bedroom and a number of two-bedroom apartments still available which are ideal for first time buyers, working professionals and growing families. The open event is a perfect opportunity for potential residents to see if living at Darwin Green may suit their lifestyle.

With Stamp Duty savings and Help to Buy available on selected apartments, these properties are a great opportunity to make the step onto the property ladder. In Cambridge, prices for apartments over the last year were down 7% on the previous year, making now a great time make an investment.

Alongside this, one-storey living provides a great space to design in a way that is modern. Current design trends, such as minimalism, work perfectly in an apartment space.

Will Phair, sales director at Barratt Homes Cambridgeshire, said: “We are really excited to host an open event for our final apartments at The Courtyard at Darwin Green. We are expecting appointments to be booked up fast, so if you’re interested in the apartments we advise you get in touch with our sales advisers to book your slot.”

The Huntingdon Road development is located a 1.6-mile walk away from the centre of the historic university city. Residents can also gain quick and easy access into Cambridge with cycle and pedestrian friendly routes to and from the development. Darwin Green also has great commuter links for working professionals, including the ability to reach London Kings Cross from Cambridge by train in under an hour.

Residents will join a growing community with a wide range of fantastic amenities coming soon including its very own central park which will feature 15 acres of open space, and high-quality sport pitches. In addition, the development has helped to invest over £36.5million into Cambridge, such as providing funding towards, education, highways, infrastructure and public transport, as well as towards community and sports facilities.

There are virtual and a limited number of private tours available by appointment only. Prices here start at £325,495. Find out more about Darwin Green from Barratt Homes.
