Keith OsborneBarratt London is hosting a London Help to Buy weekend event on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October at ten of its developments around the capital.
The government-back scheme, which gives first-time buyers the opportunity to purchase a brand new home in Greater London with a 5% deposit and 55% mortgage, is available on a host of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes at the housebuilder’s developments across the city.
In addition to finding out first-hand whether the Help to Buy scheme is for them, attendees can also take advantage of an exclusive offer – reserve over the weekend and Barratt London will contribute £6,000 towards mortgage costs (up to £500 a month) for the first year.
The event takes place at all the developments below on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October, from 10.00am to 5.30pm. It is by appointment only, so call on 0330 057 6666 to book your spot.
Eastman Village is in Harrow, on a site which was home to the Kodak Factory for 125 years. Some 2,000 new homes will be complemented by new restaurants, cafés, shops and offices set around a landscaped park creating a new leisure, business and residential destination. The area will benefit from two new schools. One- and two-bedroom homes, including new SMRT apartments, are for sale there now from £328,000.
Hendon Waterside is another 2,000-home development, located next to the scenic Welsh Harp Reservoir, with 170 hectares of green space. Great rail and Tube services put central London under half-an-hour away. Right now, one- and two-bedroom apartments here are priced from £348,000.
High Street Quarter is in its final phase as part of a major regeneration of a well-connected part of west London. On the doorstep of the town’s shops and amenities, there are now a range of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for sale here, priced from £339,000.
Millbrook Park
Millbrook Park is in sought-after Mill Hill and part of a major development there. Barratt London is building 345 apartments and 10 houses there, just a two-minute walk from the Northern line station. Residents will also be just a few minutes walk away from a range of amenities such as a Co-op, Waitrose and Virgin Active. Current one- and two-bedroom apartments are priced from £429,000.

No. 10 Watkin Road is in Wembley, another of London’s larger redevelopment programmes, on the doorstep of the famous sports stadium, in easy reach of an impressive range of shops, amenities and leisure destinations. The 229 apartments will rise to 23 storeys, and each comes with its own outdoor space. One- and two-bedroom homes available right now are priced from £429,000.
Springfield Place
Springfield Place is in Tooting and forms part of a new residential village connecting Tooting Bec to Earlsfield, which will include a new 32-acre park, a public square, retail and café units, and provision for a new primary school. There are currently are number of one- and two-bedroom apartments for sale here, one- and two-bedroom homes with prices from £450,000.
Upton Gardens is taking shape on the former site of the West Ham United football stadium. The completed development will have pn-site amenities include residents' gym, concierge service, car club, landscaped grounds and family play areas, as well as a proposed café and community space. Home is just a six-minute walk from Upton Park Underground station in Zone 3. One- and two-bedroom apartments are priced from £349,000 right now.
Western Circus is a new residential quarter coming to Acton. Centred around landscaped gardens, all the new homes come with open-plan layouts and private outdoor space.
