London Developer’s First-Time Buyer Webinar Tomorrow

Posted 14 November 2022 by Keith Osborne

On Tuesday 15 November, Barratt London hosts an informative webinar for those looking to purchase a first home...

With first-time buyers accounting for 83% of purchasers using the government’s Help to Buy scheme since its creation in 2013, it’s easy to see how young purchasers are questioning how to get their first rung on the ladder. Barratt London’s free First Time Buyers webinar will provide digestible advice and practical information on how to navigate an ever-changing property landscape.

The event will be hosted on Tuesday 15 November at 7.00pm and those wishing to attend can register here.

The panel will be made up of financial content creator, Peter Komolafe; Rightmove area director, Callum Dingle; CBRE research expert, Michael McGill; and group sales and marketing director at Barratt Developments, Steve Mariner. Hosted by Barratt London’s senior marketing manager, Rose Pullan, the discussion will cover a range of prevalent topics, including available schemes for first-time buyers, a current market overview, property hotspots, and the upcoming challenges facing prospective buyers. During the webinar, attendees will be given the opportunity to engage with the panel and ask the specialists their pressing questions.

Barratt London has a range of packages currently available for first-time buyers. The housebuilder offers the Deposit Unlock scheme, which allows buyers to purchase with just a 5% deposit, facilitating homeownership for those struggling to save large deposits. Similarly, Barratt London’s own Deposit Boost and Parent Power provide alternative ways for buyers to purchase with a lower deposit.

Steve Mariner of Barratt London said: "During the duration of Help to Buy, we were able to help over 3,330 first-time buyers take their step on to the property ladder across the capital. While the government scheme has ended, our mission to provide buyers the confidence they need to begin their home ownership journey has not. Our First Time Buyers webinar is a reminder that, although the environment has changed, it is still possible to make the transition from renter to homeowner.”
