Darwin Green was Barratt David Wilson's most successful of several developments in the Cambridge area in 2020...

Barratt Developments has reported that Darwin Green was its most successful development in the Cambridge area in 2020, with more than one property there being sold every week.

Under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, the company sold over 70 homes at the Huntingdon Road community, including a range of houses and apartments to a variety of buyers. The first phase of properties from David Wilson Homes has now sold out.

Will Phair, head of sales at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Cambridgeshire, said: “Darwin Green has been a major success and we’re very proud to hear that it was the best-selling development in Cambridge last year. The community here is developing brilliantly and we’re excited to continue expanding this.”

Cambridgeshire house-hunters are not too late to join the growing community at Darwin Green as there are still a number of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments available.

Residents benefit from an array of modern amenities within walking distance and great transport links. The development has very own central park which will feature 15 acres of open space, and high-quality sport pitches. The development is located only a 1.6-mile walk away from the centre of the historic university city of Cambridge. Residents can also gain quick and easy access into Cambridge with cycle and pedestrian friendly routes to and from the development.

Darwin Green also has great commuter links for work or leisure, including the ability to reach London Kings Cross from Cambridge by train in under an hour.

A range of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments are still available, with prices from £317,995 to £444,995, and a number of deals on selected plots. Find out more from Barratt Homes.
