Affordable Homes Now For Sale On Catterick Site

Avant Homes North East has announced the release for sale of three affordable homes at its £28million, 135-home Brompton Mews development in Catterick.

Located just four miles from Richmond town centre on Cookson Way, the development comprises a mix of semi-detached and detached two-, three and four-bedroom homes.

The three affordable homes available are on the Durham County Council-backed discount market sale (DMS) scheme which offers eligible buyers 20% off the market value price. The DMS initiative provides access to homes while enabling buyers to attain 100% ownership and financial savings, making owning a new home more achievable and affordable.

These new homes are a three-bedroom ‘Baildon’ house type discounted to £185,000 and a three-bedroom ‘Ripon’ and two-bedroom ‘Askern’ discounted to £169,000 and £145,000 respectively. Each features a generous main double bedroom, a spacious lounge, a modern kitchen/dining room with integrated appliances, bi-fold doors to the rear gardens and dedicated utility rooms.

Prices for the other available homes at Brompton Mews range from £229,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached property to £304,995 for a four-bedroom detached family home. Selected plots at Brompton Mews, other than those in the DMS scheme, also benefit from a range of incentives. These include Part Exchange and Military Discount, with eligible individuals able to claim a £500 contribution for every £25,000 of the purchase price.
