The WhatHouse? team rounds up the news on new launches of homes at developments across Greater London...

The London property market is still bubbling, with a host of brand new developments being unveiled, new phases being released and show homes opened at sites across the capital.

The WhatHouse? team has put together the latest information of new homes across Greater London for house-hunters to consider.

A final collection of new homes at Filmworks in Ealing, comprising 18 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, are ready to move into. Three new show homes are available to view, including a two-bedroom apartment designed by interior design company Killer5. Delivered by St George – part of the Berkeley Group – the elegant mix of art-deco inspired homes complete this 209-home community and are available from £589,950.

Stephen Kirwan, managing director, St George West London, said: “Earlier this year we welcomed our first residents into their new homes, and it has been fantastic to watch this community grow. There’s been a significant amount of interest in Filmworks, particularly from those within the local community who have fond memories of visiting the cinema, but can also see the area fast becoming a vibrant new destination to not only live but also to work and socialise in.

Residents at Filmworks will be moments from the central piazza, which is set to welcome the Picturehouse cinema, and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and bars. Filmworks is also just moments from Dickens Yard, a neighbouring development by St George comprising 700 homes, public spaces and a range high end retail outlets, wellness offerings and restaurants. On Saturday 4 September, Redrow is releasing 34 new homes at its major Colindale Gardens development, with prices starting from £299,995 and completion expected in early 2022. These new units are located within The Garden Apartments phase and benefit from enviable access to parkland, communal gardens and lush landscaping. Situated within Genista House, it’s a new range of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. It follows the successful launch of 39 apartments in May in Grevillea House, which recently became available to purchase using London Help to Buy.

Jody Bryant, head of sales at Redrow Greater London, said: “Recent global events have led people to re-evaluate what they want from their homes, with ease of access to quality outside space being a top priority. Colindale Gardens exemplifies this; both in terms of individual gardens and spacious communal areas where residents can spend time with family and friends. Add to this easy access to central London and it’s not hard to see why it’s become such a sought-after development for all homebuyers.”

Each one of the newly available apartments has been designed to reflect the high-quality, former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year Redrow is recognised for. The kitchens feature integrated Siemens ovens, microwaves and hobs and buyers have the option to personalise kitchen colours, worktops and splashbacks. Bathrooms with high-quality suites and soft lighting. Underfloor heating is provided throughout. Find out more at www.redrow.co.uk.

RandallsRandalls

Inland Homes has unveiled three show homes at the iconic Grade II listed Randalls development in Uxbridge, showcasing the site’s first phase of new build apartments. An exclusive collection of refurbished properties in the original building are also set to launch later this year. Combining a fusion of new and old architecture, Dalloway House at Randalls comprises a unique collection of one- and two-bedroom new build apartments. The three show homes, designed exclusively by Claude Hooper Interiors, incorporate the history of the development into the design

Carrie Edwards, account director at Claude Hooper Interiors, commented: “This contemporary apartment scheme was inspired by the Dulux Colour of the Year - Brave Ground. We have teamed this base colour up with other earthy tones such as ochre, olive green and clay to create a cosy, modern environment. Accents of black and brass give the apartment a feeling of simple luxury whilst the natural colour woods, wicker and linen fabrics keep it firmly grounded.”

A successful launch has seen 50% of homes already sold in both Dalloway House and Charleston House. Prices start at £415,000. Find out more at [email protected].
