The Latest New Homes Launches In London

The WhatHouse? team reports on recent and upcoming launches on the new homes market across Greater London...

The London new homes market is as busy as ever, across the budget from affordable starter homes through to the exclusive luxury sector.

The WhatHouse? team has compiled some information and news about some of the latest launches across Greater London.

First up, Vistry Ventures is now selling the first one-, two- and three-bedroom homes at Gallions Place, its part of the Gallions Quarter redevelopment area in the historic Royal Docks of east London, which also features new commercial, retail, arts, leisure and community space.

In the south borough of Sutton, Voile Court is the new, latest phase at Barratt London’s New Mill Quarter adjacent to Hackbridge station. This is a new collection 68 one- and two-bedroom apartments priced from £335,995 (with London Help to Buy available) and a selection of three- and four-bedroom houses on Calico Avenue from £649,995. All homes come with private outdoor space and are designed with comfort and style in mind. Set over three floors, townhouses feature spacious double bedrooms, open-plan living, a large private garden and a single garage or carport.

The former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year is offering a number of incentives. Its Featured Home at this development this month is a one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of Voile Court that features a private balcony, where the housebuilder will include upgrades of the buyer’s choice worth £8,000. In addition, Barratt London is offering Stamp Duty paid at all of its London sites throughout July and August in order to reduce pressure on buyers as the Stamp Duty holiday ends. The offer applies to any reservations made within those two months and has no price limit, unlike that of the Stamp Duty holiday by the government.

At its major development in north London, Redrow has released a new range of homes at Colindale Gardens. There are 39 properties – studios, and others with one, two or three bedrooms – starting from £330,000 located within The Garden Apartments phase, with many benefitting from views over the park or landscaped central courtyard.

True to its name, nearly 20% of Colindale Gardens will be allocated to open green spaces for residents and the surrounding community to enjoy, including communal gardens, cycle-paths, walkways, and attractive landscaping. Located at the very heart of the community is a four-acre central park, designed as a modern village green for the community. All new homes have outdoor space, in the form of a private garden or terrace, with homes in The Garden Apartments benefiting from views over the communal podium gardens. House-hunters looking to buy their first home in Ealing with a government-backed assistance scheme have something new to investigate from Saturday 12 June, when WhatHouse? Award-winning Broadway Living launches a new show home at Central Square, where homes are available through Help to Buy or some through Shared Ownership. With Help to Buy, the required deposit starts at £16,750 (based on a price of £335,000).

Set in an attractive mansion building, all homes have a private balcony or terrace as well as access to communal gardens and cycle storage. There is off-street parking available.
