Case study: Dacre and Daria
Dacre Pell (31), a relationship director at Santander, and his partner Daria moved into their new home at Countryside’s Meadow Rise just in time for Christmas,
He began his property search having recently put his home in Great Notley – also a Countryside property – on the market. Having grown up in Essex and was keen to stay in the county: “I knew it was safe and a great place to raise children in the future – I really don’t think I could ever leave,” he said. “I lived in Great Leighs where I grew up, then I moved to Chelmsford, then to Great Notley and finally I have bought at Meadow Rise in Braintree.”
Having sold his property, Dacre moved in with his sister in Great Leighs whilst he embarked on the journey to find the perfect home with his partner. His father heard that a new residential development was being built in the area and recommended he take a look. He said: “To be honest I wasn’t looking at new builds, there are many others already in the centre of Braintree which personally are not to my taste. However, when I looked at Meadow Rise, I absolutely loved it – in a way, it’s timeless.”
“The development is close enough to London that the commute for work is more than manageable as well as being able to enjoy the Essex countryside lifestyle – you get the best of both worlds.
“We bought a spacious two-bedroom apartment which is just perfect. I love the modern finish throughout, especially the living area. Being on the ground floor, the apartment benefits from a lovely shared garden with double doors to bring the outdoors in – it’s a real highlight of the property and I can’t wait to build my life here.”
Dacre was overjoyed with his purchase and the wonderful customer service he received from Countryside. “Every member of the team supported me throughout the buying process – a lovely touch was the follow ups from the sales team once the sale had completed.” He adds “We even received a lovely present upon completion – I cannot express the level of support and detail we’ve seen from Countryside, it’s something I have not experienced before, I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.”
Prices at Meadow Rise currently start from £374,995 for a three-bedroom house, with Help to Buy available for first-time buyers. Find out more at [email protected]
