Designed around a 0.72 acre central park that extends the full length of the development, residents here have access to green space on their own doorstep, featuring a variety of public art created by local artists.

For first-time buyers on a limited budget, Shared Ownership (or ‘part buy-part rent’) is a great option. Housing provider heylo has a scheme called Home Reach which offers a real range of brand new properties this way. Qualifying house-hunters can buy a proportion of the new home – usually 50% – and pay a subsidised rent on the rest, and when your finances allow you can buy further shares until you own 100% of it. The real benefits of this scheme are that you need a much smaller deposit and mortgage than buying outright, but you get the benefits of homeownership and an all-important first step on the property ladder.
