A new show home in Yate is giving visitors an insight into the quality of new build houses at Bellway’s Ladden Garden Village development.

Bellway is building a range of three- and four-bedroom houses and two-bedroom apartments at the development, off Clayhill Drive. Property designs at Ladden Garden Village are from the housebuilder’s new flagship Artisan Collection, which was developed in response to decades of customer feedback and combines traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail with modern construction techniques. The interior of the four-bedroom Bowyer has been styled by an expert team of designers to create a luxurious modern home with a subtle Art Deco vibe.

Buyers have the opportunity to choose from a range of housetypes, as well as many of the internal fixtures and fittings such as kitchen worktops and cupboard choices and bathroom tiles.

Rachel Way, sales manager for Bellway South West, says: “We have seen a great deal of interest in the new homes at Ladden Garden Village since the launch in July and our new show home is now attracting even more visitors.

“The Bowyer really showcases the spacious layout and construction quality of homes within the Artisan Collection, with our design team creating a practical, yet sophisticated, interior scheme for this house type.

“Taking a tour is an opportunity not to be missed, giving people the chance to imagine what life might be like in a new home here.”

Living room

Ladden Garden Village (Bellway)

The living room really sets the scene for the whole home, with bold colours and geometric patterns set against sophisticated neutral tones.

The marquetry-effect feature wallpaper provides a stunning backdrop for carefully chosen dark wood furniture, gold metallic accessories and pale soft furnishings, creating a chic space for relaxing, watching TV or entertaining.

A desk and plush desk chair at the far end of the room provide a dedicated study area for those working from home, away from the rest of the house.

Kitchen/dining room

The contrast of dark and light flows through into the kitchen/dining room, which provides plenty of space for day-to-day living and benefits from lots of natural light from the French doors to the garden.

Sleek wooden flooring and dark blue quilted dining chairs and bar stools bring the two distinct areas of the open-plan space together, while the striking geometric pattern of the dining room’s feature wall links back to the glamorous feel of the living room.

The pale blush gloss cabinets and pale marble-effect countertops add a luxurious finish to the well-equipped modern kitchen, and this sense of luxury continues into the dining area, reflected in the gold metallic finish of chair legs, sideboard and pendant lights over the glass dining table.

Master bedroom

The master bedroom continues the luxurious Art Deco feel of the downstairs rooms and provides the ultimate peaceful retreat at the end of a busy day.

It’s a haven in blush pink and rose gold, with more subtle contrasts provided in the differing textures of the wallpaper, bed throws, curtains and carpet. Patterns in this room are more organic for a relaxing vibe, while points of interest are created by the dark wood bedside tables, lampshades and chandelier light fitting.

Second bedroom

Bold colours and shapes give this stunning guest bedroom a real boutique hotel feel. The patterned design of the bed cushions and Roman blinds are set against a regal dark blue bed throw, while delicate geometric lines set against a charcoal background make stunning feature wallpaper.

The vertical gold bars of the bedside lamp bases complement the gold elements of the patterns elsewhere in the room, while the gold leaf patterns on the photo frames bring a touch of the natural world to the design.

Third bedroom

We’ve given the third bedroom a vintage railway theme, with period-style transport artwork suiting the Art Deco feel seen elsewhere in the house, while giving the room its own unique identity.

The headboard has a railway sleeper design set against a brick-effect feature wall, while a wooden floor, slatted wooden blind, bare bulb light fittings and rustic seagrass desk stool add to the retro industrial vibe. Bed cushions with transport signage add a pop of colour.

Fourth bedroom

The fourth bedroom, meanwhile, has been designed to appeal to an active youngster with a sense of style. The pale grey colour palette used in the room makes this a peaceful place to spend time, with on-trend mustard providing contrast and warmth.

A comfy beanbag chair is the perfect place to relax, while subtle climbing-themed finishing touches include the rock-stack lamp base, monochrome patent drawings and sunset silhouette design of one of the bed cushions. Action figures posed as if they’re climbing the feature wall add a touch of fun to the design.

Ladden Garden Village is located in Yate, a vibrant town with its own train station, just 25 minutes from Bristol.

There’s currently a selection of three- and four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Ladden Garden Village, with prices starting from £325,500, plus a further collection of two-bedroom apartments, which are priced from £215,950.
