The four-bedroom ‘Bentley’ is one of two luxury show homes currently open for viewings at a new development in Bolsover. It stands within Jones Homes’ Cavendish Park development, off Oxcroft Lane, and is currently available to view by private appointment.

Jones Homes is building a total of 133 properties at Cavendish Park, comprising a mix of three-, four- and five-bedroom designs.

Jayne Swift, sales and marketing director for Jones Homes Yorkshire, said: “With the help of the team at Lifestyle Interiors, the ‘Bentley’ show home has been designed to reflect the spacious layout and high-quality craftmanship of the properties we have to offer at Cavendish Park.

“Our aim was to show prospective buyers how our high specification properties can be transformed into wonderful family homes.”

Expert designer Emma Lamey worked closely with Jones Homes Yorkshire to style the Bentley with contemporary and luxurious furnishings, fixtures and fittings.

She said: “We styled the ‘Bentley’ show home with a growing family in mind, fitting with Jones Homes’ signature elegance. With carefully selected designs, colours and textures throughout, it also portrays a functional and liveable home.”

Living room

Cavendish Park“The living room, just to the left as you enter the property, is a luxurious space with a soft, neutral colour palette that sets a peaceful ambience, as well as touches of blush pink for a splash of colour. The deep brass finish of the furniture also adds to the overall elegance of the room.

“The spaciousness of the room is enhanced by the bay windows which allow natural light to flood in. As lighting has such a huge influence on the mood of a property, it was something we paid careful attention to throughout the show home.”

Kitchen

Cavendish ParkCavendish Park“The open-plan kitchen is a light and airy space that exudes opulence. The cashmere gloss units and white granite worktops contrast nicely to create a modern feel, especially combined with the wooden moduleo flooring.

“The breakfast bar offers the perfect space for everyday family living – whether that’s eating meals or having friends over for coffee. The beige linen upholstered bar stools, with scroll top backs and antique brass stud detailing, add a splash of both style and cosiness.”

Family/dining rooms

Cavendish ParkCavendish Park“The dining and family area is a vast space at the heart of the home which is perfect for day-to-day family life, as well as those special occasions for entertaining family and friends.

“We separated the space into two uses. Firstly, we have the family area with a cosy corner sofa that’s great for watching television and general socialising. Here, we opted for a natural warm linen fabric to create a serene and calm environment. We also included a mix of blush pink velvet and feather cushions for a touch of elegance.

“In the large dining area, we placed an eight plus seater dining table and chairs which have a natural oak wood finish. For that added splash of luxury, the radiator covers were made bespoke and finished in Farrow & Ball paint with a mesh inset brass panel.”

Master bedroom

Cavendish Park“In this spacious master bedroom, we picked opulent, rich and bold materials that wouldn’t be out of place in a fine hotel room.

“Investing in quality lighting is key to any design, so we went for a beautiful, crystal semi-flush chandelier. The bedside tables have an antique mirror finish which are simple in design yet stunning.

“The colours and textures are darker-themed than the rest of the house for a stand-out effect. The textured-velvet throw, and beautiful embroidered-trim cushions, also enhance its uniqueness.

Main bathroom and en suite

Cavendish ParkCavendish Park“A high-specification en suite off of the master bedroom, and the modern family bathroom, help develop the overall luxurious presence within this home.

“We’ve placed blush accents throughout the rooms, which pair perfectly with the fully tiled walls and flooring. These accents include the towels on the heated towel rail and soap dispensers on the Villeroy and Boch sink and bathtub.

Bedroom two

Cavendish Park“We wanted bedroom two to have a contrasting style to the master bedroom, in order to showcase how differently the rooms can be styled.

“It’s very light and airy in colour with soft furnishings, demonstrating how it could be made into a simple guest bedroom for visiting family and friends.

“The bespoke-made floating bedside tables in Farrow & Ball paint finish, along with the antique brass and crystal wall lights, give a boutique feel.”

Bedroom three

Cavendish Park“Bedroom three features a little more glamour with the antique brass lighting. We also added a beautiful satin bed throw with a quirky lizard print for something a little different.

“I brought in deep mustard tones, mixed with deep blush velvet, for an interesting colour contrast. The white and brass bedside tables also give a fresh and crisp feel.”

Bedroom four

Cavendish Park“Bedroom four was designed with a nod towards a young teenager or child’s room. With soft geometric furnishings and contemporary furniture, it has a light and airy atmosphere.

“The light fitting and matching bedside table lamps, with their beautiful white globe shapes, have an eye-catching appearance. The off-white linen cushions, with gold sequin detailing, also complement the feature wallpaper excellently.”

A selection of four-bedroom homes are currently available to purchase with prices starting from £356,995. Find out more at jones-homes.co.uk.
