Avant Homes launches show homes designed by John Lewis & Partners to give prospective buyers style inspiration...

WhatHouse? Award-winning housebuilder Avant Homes is offering prospective buyers interiors inspiration directly from the high street by showcasing a collection of homes at one of its latest developments which have been entirely styled and furnished by department store John Lewis & Partners.

The project involves John Lewis & Partners designing and installing everything from light fittings and wallpaper to artwork and all furniture in three Avant show homes at The Cotton Yard in Brailsford near Ashbourne.

The collaboration also allows interested homebuyers to meet experts from John Lewis & Partners’ Home Design team at one-off events, where they can receive specialist information on products, interiors advice and home styling tips.

Speaking about the project, John Lewis & Partners’ Suzanne Knight, says: “We are very excited about working with Avant Homes. We share many similarities when it comes to our brand values with a focus on delivering exceptional design.

“The Avant Homes and John Lewis & Partners show home interiors feature exclusive own-brand products as well as pieces from high-end brands available in store, giving homebuyers a unique opportunity to see the very latest trends in homewares and furnishings to fit their new Avant home and give inspiration on how to make the space their own.”

The new show home interior design concept is a result of Avant Homes’ innovative approach to homebuilding and its commitment to finding better ways to design and deliver outstanding new homes to its customers.

Avant Homes group marketing director, Julia Pitt, says: “We are continually seeking to push the boundaries of new home design and that also extends to the emphasis we place on the interiors of our show homes and how our product is presented to buyers.

“We aim to not only offer our purchasers an outstanding new home but also give them a one-of-a-kind experience, which often begins at the showhome. Joining forces with John Lewis & Partners to offer show homes that are designed like no other and featuring items and design inspiration that are easily accessible to them, provides the perfect combination of style and convenience to our buyers.”

There are currently a range of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes available at The Cotton Yard, with prices starting from £324,995. The government-backed Help to Buy scheme is available.
