Legal & General Homes has unveiled no fewer than four show homes at its Nobel Park development in Didcot, which has already seen a spike in pre-launch interest.

It's an opportunity to explore the look and feel of the properties up-close for the first time. The show homes, designed by Haus Interiors, are open for appointment-only bookings for socially distanced viewings, supported with virtual tours of the stunning new show village.  The new homes are the ‘Ashford’, ‘Drayton’, ‘Langley’ and ‘Gidea’ house types, which are offered with up to £15,000 of incentives when reserved by 30 June.

Neil Simpson, regional sales and marketing director for Legal & General Homes, commented: “The response to Nobel Park has been fantastic and 21 homes have already been snapped up as part of our early-bird offer. We know that buyers’ priorities have changed over the past year and an increasing number of people are looking for more indoor and outdoor space, without sacrificing on proximity to urban centres and amenities. Nobel Park ticks all those boxes and, combined with the government’s extended Stamp Duty holiday, is the ideal choice for those making a move this year.”

Ranging from two- to five-bedroom properties, the homes reflect the development’s mix of traditional and contemporary designs, with a palette of colours and materials – from red brick, to cream renders – respectfully curated to reflect the look and feel of the local area.

Legal & General Homes has worked closely with Haus Interiors to design the interiors so buyers can imagine exactly what life can look like in their new home. All of the homes at Nobel Park are filled with quality, well-known branded features at no extra cost, so buyers don’t have to choose price over preference. This includes a range of fully integrated Bosch appliances, luxury durable flooring, Hive smart heating, and large bi-fold doors leading out onto turfed lawns, all coming as standard. Created with modern lifestyles in mind, the new technology included in all Nobel Park homes provides a high standard of living whilst minimising energy bills.

From first-time buyers to growing families and downsizers, Nobel Park has a home to suit everyone with its range of properties, and Help to Buy and Part Exchange available.

Once complete, Nobel Park will offer 1,880 homes set across 250 acres of leafy, open space, including allotments and children’s play areas. The development will encourage healthy lifestyles with a new leisure centre, incorporating on-site sports facilities, pitches and a pavilion. Sustainable travel will be encouraged through new and upgraded paths and cycleways, and a neighbourhood centre will provide a community hall and a hotel with space for a crèche/children’s day nursery and a shop for everyday essentials.

Simpson continued: “The arrival of our new show homes mean people can see the high-quality fixtures and fittings that are included as standard for themselves, as well as get a feel for the green surroundings at this peaceful spot which is within walking distance of Didcot’s vibrant centre.

“What’s on offer here at Nobel Park is more than just a collection of homes, with the green space and abundance of leisure and sports facilities, we are creating a new community that help people lay down forever roots. We look forward to welcoming people to the show village in the coming weeks.”

The development is a chance for buyers to have the best of both worlds – countryside surroundings, without compromising on modern amenities and easy commutes. Situated less than one mile away from Didcot Parkway railway station, where direct trains run to London Paddington in under 45 minutes and to Oxford and Reading in just 12 minutes, great connections to the A34 mean it’s also within easy reach of Bicester, Newbury, Winchester and Southampton.

Prices at Nobel Park start at £260,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and £299,950 to £580,000 for two- to four-bedroom homes. The Visitors Centre will open by appointment-only at Willington Down, Lady Grove. Find out more at nobel-park.co.uk.
