Part Exchange Allows Couple to Find a Home in a Hurry

A growing family was able to move quickly and easily into a new home thanks to Charles Church's Part Exchange scheme...

When Tom and Michelle Stubberfield found out they were expecting their third child, the pressure was on to find somewhere big enough to cater for their growing family.

They were determined to stay in the beautiful village setting of Twyning in Gloucestershire, so they found themselves with the daunting task of selling their current home and finding somewhere perfect in time for their new arrival.

Thanks to a Part Exchange scheme from Charles Church South Midlands, the couple were able to move into a spacious five-bedroom home at the Brockeridge Paddocks development in no time at all.

Michelle says: “At the time we were living in a bungalow and there just wasn’t enough space for all five of us. We needed to sell our home quickly but had had sellers drop out on multiple occasions which only added to the pressure of finding somewhere in time for the arrival of the baby.

“Tom and I had become aware of the Brockeridge Paddocks development and when we discussed our options with Dawn, the sales advisor on the site, we knew that the Part Exchange Scheme would be the perfect solution to our problem.”

The scheme allowed Tom and Michelle to sell their existing home to Charles Church, so they were able to move quickly and efficiently into a detached five-bedroom home.

Michelle adds: “One the best things about the scheme is that there are no estate agent fees as Charles Church take care of all the costs. We were given a good price for our bungalow and the process was really quick, which was ideal for us with a baby on the way.”

The move meant that the family could stay within the picturesque village of Twyning, a location they loved.

Michelle says: “When we first saw the site plans we knew the development was going to be special. We now wake up to a gorgeous view of the Paddocks outside our window. The development is near our friends and family as well as the children’s schools and is ideal for travelling to work as it’s just near the M50 and M5 motorways.”

The couple bought off-plan and were the first to reserve on the development. They were able to take advantage of Charles Church’s range of upgrade packages, allowing them to personalise their home with extras such as quartz kitchen surfaces and top quality kitchen appliances.

The couple were slightly hesitant about buying off-plan, but it was the level of customer service reassured them.

Michelle continues: “Dawn, the sales advisor, has been fantastic throughout the whole process and has kept us updated at every stage. Terry, the site manager, has also been extremely receptive to any feedback. If ever we had any issues he was our first point of call and quickly responded to any questions. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of build, the house is beautiful and it was a great decision to move.”

Brockeridge Paddocks is a much desired development in the stunning village of Twyning.  It offers a selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes with prices starting from just £235,000.
