The Quadrant by Chestnut Homes - Show Home Room by Room
Chestnut Homes has celebrated the launch of its landmark new development, The Quadrant, by unveiling four new show homes.
One of these show homes is the Bressingham, a four-bedroom property which features a tribute to Boston United Football Club, whose new stadium will be built as part of the development. The development is located south of Boston in Wyberton, and will eventually comprise 500 new homes, the new football stadium and commercial and retail space.
David Newton, managing director of Chestnut Homes, says: “The Quadrant is a very significant development for Boston, so when we launched the site we wanted to give visitors the opportunity to view a selection of show homes, each individually designed to suit different buyer’s tastes. The Quadrant has already made a great impression on buyers and we have received lots of praise for the quality of the show homes.
“The four-bedroom Bressingham is a stylish and spacious home which is perfect for modern family living. We designed the house with young families in mind and the showhome is dressed in a warm colour scheme to make the home an inviting place to experience.
“The key to any family home is comfort, and we feel that the Bressingham has a very relaxing environment with a warm neutral theme running throughout.”
Living room: Living rooms should be a comfortable place in which to put your feet up and unwind. The colour palette of whites and creams creates a timeless look, while further warmth is added by the golden glow from the mini chandeliers. The room is well served by natural light, which floods in from the Georgian style windows and is reflected around the room by the prominent centrepiece mirror. The black accents of the photo frames are a nice touch which provides a striking contrast against the lighter tones of the room.
Kitchen / diner: The kitchen/ dining area is the hub of the house, so we needed to create a practical space which visitors could immediately see themselves living in. There is a bright, airy feel to the kitchen and the slightly cooler colour scheme really complements the natural light. Faded hues at each end of the kitchen/diner complement the richer colours of the solid wooden table and worktops to create a nice contrast in style.
Master bedroom: Our lavish master-bedroom exudes the luxury of a plush hotel, but without losing the warm, homely atmosphere we have created downstairs. Eyes are instantly drawn to the two spiral sphere ceiling lights either side of the bed, which not only look fantastic but also provide a warm golden glow. The room features a built-in wardrobe to maximise space, as well a luxurious leather bench and a leather feature wall, while the en suite boasts chalky spa-like grey bathroom tiles.
Second bedroom: The second bedroom also radiates a sense of luxury, with the sleek bedside lamps adding to the warm colour palette of whites and creams. The real standout feature of the room is the beautiful velvet teal headboard which provides an eye-catching injection of colour.
Third bedroom: Boston United plays a prominent role in the community and our children’s room will eventually overlook Boston United’s new football stadium, so we thought our design would be a fitting way to pay homage to the team. The mural is the dominant feature of this room and will delight any young Pilgrims fan or football fanatic in general. Here we have returned to our original colour palette which gives the painting a distinguished monochrome look.
Children’s bedroom: Inspired by the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast, our children’s bedroom is a royal retreat fit for a princess. Here we’ve combined soft pinks and purples to keep this lovely room light and cheery, while retaining an elegant look. Eyes are instantly drawn to The Wardrobe, the aptly named character from the film who stands proudly in the corner, but the room is also filled with a host of furry friends from the movie, packing the room with personality.
The Quadrant is located off the A16 between Boston and the village of Wyberton. The two-, three- and four-bedroom showhomes are open daily from 10am-5pm and the first homes are now available to purchase.
