Feature Development – Anthem, Beverley
Living in a three-storey house is a popular option for many because compared to a traditional two-floor home, you get more living space for the ‘footprint’ of the property. For house-hunters looking for a home in Beverley, there are a number of three-storey house types at Strata’s development, Anthem.
Anthem comprises two-, three- and four-bedroom homes in a range of contemporary designs and prices currently start at £185,000 for a two-bedroom type called ‘The Livorno’. Entering this semi-detached home, on the ground floor is a shower room and bedroom two, which could also function as a home office. Everyday living is centred on the first floor with its open-plan kitchen/dining/living room. Bedroom one is one the top floor, a spacious room with an en suite bathroom.
For three bedrooms, there’s ‘The Geneva’, a terrace/semi-detached townhouse, which is priced from £255,000, which has a more traditional layout. On the ground floor, just off the hallway are a downstairs cloakroom and some useful under-stairs storage. There’s also a large, open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with French doors to the private rear garden. Off the first-floor landing are the family bathroom and two double bedrooms, as well as another room that could function as study, hobby room or further storage space. The top floor is dedicated to the principal bedroom and en suite shower room.
Top-of-the-range of the properties available right now is a four-bedroom type, ‘The Oporto’. This also has downstair cloakroom and sorage, but at the rear is an open-plan kitchen/dining room with glazed doors to the garden, while at the front of the house is a separate living room. Up the stairs to the first floor and there are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, together with the family bathroom. The main bedroom is one the second floor, with en suite and velux window, and the spacious landing could be somewhere to set up a home office away from the busy family areas downstairs.
