Helen ChristieThe impressive three-bedroom Moray style family home, which is unique to Royal Park View, has been styled by top interior design specialists, blocc interiors.
Suzanne Thomas, the firm’s creative sales director, says: ‘We always enjoy working on new show projects with Cruden Homes. Each home is different and a challenge with expectations always high, but we enjoy experimenting with new ideas and colour schemes. This is demonstrated with the new Moray show home at Royal Park View, which was designed with a professional couple in their late 20s/early 30s in mind, reflecting the type of buyers who are aspiring to starting a new life at this super development.
“The light and airy modern look of the show home has been achieved through utilising a range of different furniture finishes, such as gloss, glass, painted woods and a mixture of metals, combined with different textures & patterned fabrics. The colour palette is predominantly white with tonal greys and pale mint greens, while copper and chrome accessories work really well with geometric fabrics to help create a very much on-trend style."
Lounge: In this room, the aim was to create a comfortable space where families could relax together. Here we combined different furniture finishes such as metals, glass, mirror and straight lined gloss furniture while copper furniture and a bare bulb light fitting along with black and white photographic artwork and geometric fabrics, helped give impact to the overall design. Lots of light also floods the lounge through the large window and bounces around the room, creating a light and airy feel.
Master bedroom: In the master bedroom, we wanted to merge comfort with a contemporary design. Soft wooden finishes were combined with a colour palette of tonal greys with subtle mint coming through in the cushions and bed throw, while wall to wall/floor to ceiling curtains create a boutique style. Additionally, the use of a wooden shutter as the headboard injects an element of continental styling to the room.
Bedroom Two: In the second bedroom, the use of the feature paint wall in a dark green shade ideally sets off the geometric copper screen which has been used as the bed head.

Bathroom: The main bathroom is modern and very much in keeping with the on-trend aesthetic of the rest of the home, with its elegant large format grey tiles laid in landscape format creating a sharp and sophisticated look.
Kitchen / Dining area: The Moray’s kitchen/dining area is a great space to cook, eat and relax in. This room continues the modern styling of the home and has a light and bright appearance. High gloss kitchen units combined with white furniture, a geometric fabric used in the window treatments and copper and green accessories work really well together to create a very attractive and contemporary space.
