Helen ChristieHomeowners should take a positive step and move into a home better suited to their needs, says Prospect Homes.
Prospect Homes is building homes at Mitton Grange in Whalley and since launching, has seen lots of interest from homeowners wanting to find a home that is better suited to their needs and lifestyle.
‘Rightsizing’ is much more than reducing living space and while this may mean buying a smaller house, it could also be a similar sized home that is configured differently.

Prospect Homes’ head of sales, Sam Williams, says: “At the start of a new year, many homeowners re-evaluate their lives with some making the decision to move into a more manageable home. Moving to Mitton Grange will mean they have a new build home that is energy efficient and will have less maintenance and upkeep. This will result in a home that helps them transition to the next stage of their lives. It may be that children have moved out or retirement may be approaching. It doesn’t mean that homeowners must compromise on elements they love such as a spacious kitchen, double bedrooms and a driveway or garage. It simply means they can use the space they have more effectively, and no rooms are left unused.”
Mitton Grange is a development of 46 three- and four-bedroom homes and includes nine different house styles. All properties are detached and come with a private driveway or garage. All main bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and some of the larger properties also have additional rooms that could be used as a study or snug.
Prospect Homes can also assist with selling an existing home through its Easy Move and Part Exchange schemes.
Current prices at Mitton Grange start from £385,000 for a four-bedroom Barley Plus to £560,000 for a four-bedroom Pattersley house type.
