Park Quadrant Residences by Ambassador Developments – Show Home Room by Room

WhatHouse? takes a tour of the luxury show apartment at Park Quadrant Residences from Ambassador Developments in the heart of Glasgow...

Located in the heart of Glasgow’s West End, Park Quadrant Residences from Ambassador Developments is a luxury development made up of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom duplex and penthouse apartments.

With interiors designed by John Amabile Design, the show home was inspired by the use of architectural sandstone on the exterior of Park Quadrant Residences. It blends warm neutral tones and architectural materials, using timber, marble and ceramics to create a sense of luxury.

Park Quadrant show home kitchenKitchen: The kitchen features luxurious Leicht kitchen furniture with integrated Gaggenau and Siemens appliances. The walls are painted in Farrow and Ball ‘Skimming stone’ to create the perfect backdrop to the soft taupe discrete handled, soft closing doors of the kitchen. The splash back adds another simplistically effective feature in a long oak panel finish. The worktops are Corian marble in a white classic Carrara finish that coordinate with the large marble topped dining table. The natural finish of the dining chairs and the table itself are augmented by the use of coppers and gold to evoke a classic warmer aesthetic. Accessories add the same gold blush to this room which is the heart of the home. The customised art not only evokes the architectural style of Glasgow’s buildings but provides an extra pop of zesty colour.

This is softened by an oversized luxury velvet headboard and layered textured fabrics of chenille, silks and velvets coordinating with a wall of glamorous shimmer by way of wall-to-wall voile curtains. An added finish is the vintage glass side tables and lighting again hinting at the warm bronzes and coppers throughout the design.

Park Quadrant Residences show home bathroomBathroom: The exquisite Kohler bathrooms have been designed exclusively for Park Quadrant Residences. The vision here is a case of less is more by utilising a large format soft taupe marble effect tile. By using differing tile sizes but in the same finish we have achieved a classic interior. Contrast details with the introduction of the oak finish adds a design detail and with subtle lighting creates the perfect ambience for a home spa or everyday use.

Park Quadrant Residences show home living roomLiving room: The bay window feature in this apartment allows for natural light to fill the room. Soft lattice voiles run on an inner track to the outer detail drapes in soft sandstone effect and contrast a self-coloured chevron design. This fabric is also used to design and make the two ceiling pendant shades lined in soft copper. Each window has electric roller black-out blinds finished in a soft linen effect fabric. The walls are covered in a wide width wallpaper that reflects large slabs of sandstone and is detailed with reflective pieces to add dimension. The occasional furniture, as in the dining area, combines marble with soft gold and accessories to all blend using all the natural materials of the entire design. Two large deep buttoned chenille sofas add relaxed comfort and the use of a soft traditional paisley pattern, a modern velvet grid pattern and cushions matching the curtains add more detail to the tonal build-up of this luxurious comfortable series of interiors.

Prices for a one-bedroom flat starts from £299,000. For further information, visit pqresidences.com.
