Launch and Open Day at luxury Derbyshire retirement scheme

Specialist developer Richmond Villages is giving older buyers looking for a dedicated new retirement property to find the property they are looking for on Saturday 14 October with a launch and Open Day event at its Aston-on-Trent development in Derbyshire, around seven miles from the centre of Derby.

The event takes place from 10.00am to 4.00pm, giving potential buyers plenty of time to look at the range of properties available, the recreational facilities that complement these new homes and to talk to the Richmond Villages team about all their options, as well as enjoy some champagne and refreshments.

New range of townhouses now available in Greenwich

Signal TownhousesDeveloper U+I has just released a range of 16 townhouses located in the heart of Peninsula West, Greenwich, in south-east London.

These new, contemporary-designed three-bedroom properties offer around 1,340 sq ft of accommodation split over three storeys and are located within a private mews which residents access via a paved granite courtyard. New apartments released in Liverpool

David Wilson Homes’ North West division has released a range of one- and two-bedroom apartments off-plan at its Claremont Gardens development on Westminster Road in Kirkdale, a suburb of Liverpool, just two miles from the city centre.

With work on the homes due to commence this December, even at this advanced stage Help to Buy is available to purchasers, requiring them to provide just a 5% deposit and supplementing it with a 20% equity loan, repayable when the property is re-sold.

With off-plan buying giving the purchaser the chance to select from a range of options to personalise their new home, Steve Jackson, sales director at David Wilson Homes North West says: “We have a limited number of apartments so would encourage anyone interested to come down and discuss the options available to them at Claremont Gardens.”

New show homes to open at Cambridgeshire development this Saturday

Alconbury WealdHouse-hunters looking for a home close to Huntingdon will have three new show houses to look at when they visit Alconbury Weald, the Redrow Homes development that is also within easy reach of Peterborough and Cambridge.

The development was launched off-plan around six months ago, and the three show homes – the ‘Stratford’, the ‘Cambridge’ and the ‘Balmoral’, all four-bedroom homes – will be a first opportunity to see build quality and layout first-hand, as well as be inspired by the latest interiors trends. New homes come to Brentford next week

Notting Hill Sales will be launching a brand new development next week (Saturday 21 October) in west London with the Reynard Mills scheme in Brentford, with the first phase presenting buyers with a range of three- and four-bedroom homes.

Prices will be announced at the event for these new build properties, which have been designed to aesthetically fit into the area and offer a cheaper alternative to nearby areas such as Chiswick and Ealing.

These new homes are less than two miles from Northfields Avenue, which offers a selection of cafés, independent shops and restaurants, and only 20 minutes away from Kew Bridge Road and its greater range of shops and amenities.

Brentford station is about 10 minutes’ walk from home and offers a journey time of around 30 minutes into central London, while Heathrow Airport is even closer, just 20 minutes from the front door.

Stamp duty paid on new homes reservations at West Sussex site this weekend

Summerswood​Martin Grant Homes is offering to pay the stamp duty on the new homes reserved at its Summerswood development this weekend (Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October) in Ifield, on the north-western fringe of Crawley in West Sussex.

The development offers a selection of 27 three-, four- and five-bedroom family homes sacross a number of designs. Prices currently start at £464,950 and this offer brings savings from £13,250 to £27,500, depending on the property purchased. Help to Buy is also available.

Ifield has a range of amenities of its own, with two state primary schools (Manor Green Primary School is ‘outstanding’ and Waterfield Primary School ‘good’, according to Ofsted) and independent Cottesmore Preparatory School, and its own station that links to Gatwick Airport and London services at Three Bridges.

East London development launches Help to Buy offer

A development called The Overdraught in Haggerston has three one-bedroom apartments now available with Help to Buy London, thank to the introduction of the scheme by developer L&Q.

The waterside development, located next to the Regent’s Canal on a former pub site, comprises eight apartments and a four-bedroom townhouse, appealing to a wide range of buyers and budgets. The one-bedroom apartments are priced at £565,000, below the threshold for the Help to Buy scheme.
