A uniquely designed show home for Old Quay Meadow in Cheshire

Old Quay MeadowElan has opened a new show home at Old Quay Meadow in Parkgate and Neston on the Wirral Peninsula, professionally styled by Stanza Style, which is likely to attract more family buyers to the development.

The five-bedroom ‘Chesham’ show home has a range of features to appeal to every member of the family, says Alex Egan of the interior design company: “We’ve thought about the type of families who would want to live at Old Quay Meadow and styled the show home with lots of character and personality, while also showcasing the spaciousness and the specification. For example, [in the] open-plan kitchen, dining and family room… we’ve  covered one of the walls with a map and pinned postcards to it, creating the impression that this is the home of a well-travelled family. It’s been a real talking point amongst visitors who want to recreate the look in their own homes.

“Upstairs, in one of the children’s bedrooms, we’ve pained a mural of Charlie Bucket and Willy Wonka at the factory gates on one of the walls in their bedroom. This characterful room captures the imaginations of parents and children alike and has lots of accessories linked to the story and films. There’s also a teenage girl’s room we like to call the enchantment room. Painted lilac, furnished with a wooden bed with willow sprayed silver and tied to the frame with sparkly LED lights, bird boxes and pinecones, it’s lots of fun.”

Properties at Old Quay Meadow currently start from £299,995, and the show home is open from Thursday to Monday, from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
