This weekend is another busy one with launches and special events taking place at new homes developments across the country, giving serious house-hunters an opportunity to look at the properties and perhaps take advantage of a current special offer.


Catkin Gardens sales centre opens its doors this weekend

This Saturday 23 June, Bovis Homes is opening its sales centre to give visitors the chance to find out more about the selection of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes available. The location also offers open spaces, a play area and footpaths.

There are a range of purchase assistance schemes available to help buyers secure their dream home, including the government-backed Help to Buy scheme, and Bovis Homes own Smooth Move service, where the housebuilder will help those needing to sell a property deal with estate agents on behalf of the buyer, and even pay the fees.

Shared Ownership homes released in Harrow

The part-buy/part-rent nature of the Shared Ownership attracts many first-time buyers, and now those looking for a brand new home in the centre of Harrow in north-west London can consider a new range of properties unveiled by Network Homes.

Lyon Square offers one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with their own balcony or terrace, as well as a communal courtyard and landscaped areas. Residents also benefit from a daytime concierge. Prices start from £148,500 for a 45% share (based on a full market value of £330,000).

Special events for buyers in Cheshire this weekend

Launch of new homes in Berkshire this Saturday

Launch weekend for development in Northwood

New luxury apartments come to Brook Green

Friday 22 June sees the unveiling of a new development of five luxurious apartments in Brook Green, an affluent area in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham where new properties are rarely available.

Estate agent Finlay Brewer is working with the developer Poseidon Group to unveil the new one- and two-bedroom homes which are coming on sale for between £995,000 and £1.4m. Ranging in size from 872 sq ft to 1,496 sq ft, each apartment is in an industrial style, with Crittall windows exposed brick and brushed leather furnishings, and comes with its own private outside space in the form of terraced balcony, garden terrace or winter garden.

Located on the corner of Blythe Road, the building was once a pub known as the Old Parr’s Head and dates back to at least 1870 (when it was called the Duke of Edinburgh). It closed in 2014 and has now been brought back to life as a residential address.

New homes to be released at Dundee development

Craigie Fields​Cruden Homes is working on its first new homes development in Dundee and with construction now underway, is set to release a number of properties there onto the market in August, with a show home planned for October.

Craigie Fields is the name of the new development, which will comprise 42 new homes. It’s a mixed-tenure scheme, with 12 three-bedroom semi-detached homes for sale to private buyers and the remaining 30 properties a selection of two and three-bedroom homes and cottage flats available to rent through Angus Housing Association. All the house styles have been designed exclusively for the location, and each benefits from renewable energy supplied by PV solar panels.

New show homes to see in Bexhill

David Wilson Homes has opened the first two show homes at its Rosewood Park development in Little Common, just outside the seaside town of Bexhill which will be bringing 239 new homes to the East Sussex property market.

Both show houses combine traditional architecture with contemporary internal decoration and furnishings selected by leading design specialists Andrew Henry Interior. The development willbe bringing a wide array of homes, from one bedroom to five. Visitors to the site can now take a tour of the  four-bedroom detached ‘Cornell’ house, which has been designed with families with older children in mind, and the ‘Henley’, which has four double bedrooms and a single bedroom, which is presented as another option - a study. Prices at the development currently start from £172,995 for a one bedroom apartment.
