New show homes and first residents at North Yorkshire site

With the first residents moving into their homes at the site, Redrow is now unveiling two show houses for potential purchasers to visit at the Churchfields site in Green Hammerton, a North Yorkshire village between York and Harrogate.

“We were very excited to recently welcome the first residents, who include a retired couple and a young family, which only serves to heighten the mixed appeal of our homes and the location,” says Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire). This development has a range of three- and four-bedroom detached houses, with current prices from £399,950. Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Mastermove schemes are all available here. The show homes are usually open Thursday to Monday, from 10.00am to 5.30pm.

Fully furnished by professional interior designers is the ‘Ashbourne’, one of the housebuilder’s new generation of ‘lifestyle’ homes. This three-bedroom house is built on the footprint of what would normally be a four-bedroom property and provides open-plan downstairs living and three larger double bedrooms, each with its own en suite, with the master bedroom also coming with walk-in wardrobe. An ‘Ashbourne’ is priced from £429,950. “It’s ideal for downsizers – or right sizers as we prefer to call them – people coming out of larger houses, perhaps after their children have grown up and left home. The property’s appeal is wide-ranging though, as the layout also suits younger professional couples who enjoy having house guests, or families with teenagers,” adds Aicken.

Alongside the ‘Ashbourne’ is the ‘Bramham’, with four bedrooms, open-plan kitchen/dining/family room and a separate lounge and a designated study. All four bedrooms are doubles and the master includes an en suite shower room to complement the family bathroom. Prices start at £479,950.

New show home at Leicester development

St Mary's ParkWestleigh has unveiled a new show home at its St Mary’s Park development in Leicester to give the area’s house-hunters the opportunity to see first-hand the style and specification of its range of properties there.

The show home is a ‘Beacon’ house type which has been professionally fitted by The Room Interiors. It has a spacious living room, a dual-aspect kitchen/dining room and a guest cloakroom, and upstairs two good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. The ‘Beacon’ is priced from £192,950 and like the sales and marketing suite, it’s open daily from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Elizabeth Archer, director of The Room Interiors says: “The inspiration for the show home came from the area’s use as a city allotment and the fact that, during its prime years, it was filled with home-grown produce. I wanted to hint at the development’s past life while acknowledging that it still lies within the inner city and is therefore an ideal spot for first-time buyers, property investors and young families alike.” Lisa Morris, Westleigh’s new homes manager, adds: “Our ‘Beacon’ show home looks fabulous and has generated a lot of interest in the brand new homes coming to St Mary’s Park. I would urge anyone interested in making a move to St Mary’s Park to book their visit without delay!”

Located in the heart of Leicester, St Mary’s Park currently offers a selection of two- and three-bedroom homes -to reserve, priced from £192,950 and £221,950 respectively. Help to Buy is available.

Part Exchange weekend at Warwickshire development

Homeowners looking for a brand new replacement for their current property are invited to the Cawston Rise development in Rugby, Warwickshire this weekend, where housebuilder William Davis Homes is hosting a Part Exchange weekend.
