Shared Ownership homes for sale in Enfield

A range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes are now available to purchase via Shared Ownership on a new development from Notting Hill Sales in Enfield, north London, which require a deposit far smaller than that required to buy an equivalent property outright.

Buyers at Broomfield can start with between a 25% and 40% share of a new home, with rent payable on the remainder at less than the market rate. Over time, they can purchase further shares as they can afford them, up to a maximum of 100% of their home. On the current release of homes, prices for a three-bedroom apartment start at £128,750 based on a 25% share of the full market value of £515,000, with a four-bedroom duplex starting from £158,750 based on a 25% share (based on a full market value of £635,000).

Jenny Murphy, head of sales and marketing at Notting Hill Sales, says: “The homes at Broomfield have been thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of buyers. With the Shared Ownership scheme available, the homes are especially ideal for those ‘middle-movers’ wanting to purchase a larger home but still feel outpriced in today’s market. Each property enjoys its own private outdoor space and bright open-plan living and dining areas that are great for entertaining or spending time together but also offer that element of privacy. Residents also have access to a bespoke shared outdoor courtyard, perfect for spending time relaxing in and a secure environment for children to enjoy being outdoor.”

Though coming with bicycle storage and off-street parking, the development is located within walking distance of a variety of local amenities and leisure activities. It is also within easy reach of a number of transport links, such as Tube stations at Bounds Green (Zone 3) and Arnos Grove (Zone 4) and the railway station of Bowes Park, which together provide a range of routes to the centre of the capital in as little as 20 minutes.
