With many thousands of new homes for sale across the country, it’s no surprise that house-hunters can enjoy a range of events, launches and special offers at developments in every region, and we take a look at just a few of them here…

 

Help to Buy now available at Chiswick development

Redrow London has now made the government-backed Help to Buy London purchase assistance scheme available on the final phase of homes at its 500 Chiswick High Road development.

The new release is a collection of one-bedroom apartments in a contemporary open-plan design, with oak veneer flooring, underfloor heating, stone kitchen work surfaces, stylish bathrooms and private outdoor spaces, with floor space raging from 402 sq ft to 705 sq ft. Prices at this development start at £440,000 for a studio apartment and at £585,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, with Help to Buy London available on homes under £600,000.

Simon Halfhide, sales director for Redrow, says: “In an area primarily dominated by period properties, these new build homes offer a great opportunity for first time buyers to purchase a property in the area that they want but at the right price, with the help of the Help to Buy Scheme. Each home at the development has been designed with generous proportions with particular attention shown to the open plan living areas and outdoor space, which is why we have designed each apartment to include spacious private balconies overlooking the beautifully landscaped courtyard.”

With their own concierge service and secure underground parking, these new homes are on the doorstep of Chiswick’s shops and amenities and a short walk from the River Thames and Gunnersbury station on the District line.

Miller Homes offers Part Exchange at Edinburgh site

South Gilmerton BraeMiller Homes is offering potential buyers a range of incentives at its South Gilmerton Brae development in Edinburgh, where a range of properties appeal to a variety of buyers, with Part Exchange a great option for those moving up the property ladder.

With a collection of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, the development has had appeal to couples, commuters and families alike. Prices start at £267,995 and the development is open from Thursday to Monday, between 11.00am and 6.00pm, for house-hunters to look at all the options and hear about the incentives available.

Marketing suite opens this weekend at Bristol waterside development

Saturday 17 March sees the opening of a marketing suite at Brandon Yard in Bristol, a new harbourside development that is a joint venture between Acorn Property Group and Galliard Homes

Brandon Yard is the refurbishment of two Grade-ll listed former gasworks buildings along with a sympathetically designed contemporary new build block and comprise 56 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Currently, prices start at £295,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, £395,000 for a two-bedroom property and £850,000 for a three-bedroom fifth floor apartment.

New phase of Vauxhall development set for launch

Keybridge CapitalThe Keybridge development in Vauxhall, a joint venture of Mount Anvil and FABRICA by A2Dominion, will see a second phase of properties released for sale this spring.

Designed by Allies and Morrison, the development’s exterior design is based on the industrial heritage as well as its established, period mansion blocks. Keybridge Capital will comprise 125 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, just part of the overall number of 595 new homes being created at the development. Set for completion in the first half of 20121, prices on this phase start at £555,000 for a studio apartment.

Incentives on offer at Bedfordshire development

Award-winning developer Kier Living Eastern is now offering incentives on selected plots at its Tall Trees development in Potton, Bedfordshire.

Tall Trees offers several styles of three- and four-bedroom homes. Prices start at  £326,995 for a three-bedroom ‘Bullington’ house type and £434,995 for the four-bedroom ‘Ardleigh’ design. Currently offered are free flooring, curtains, blinds, turf or furniture packages, while Help To Buy and Part Exchange may also be available.

Last chance to apply for CALA’s bursary scheme

Local organisations across the country are reaching the deadline to apply for a share of the CALA Homes Community Bursary scheme, with the deadline of Friday 23 March approaching.

Now in its second year, the scheme aims to provide support for a wide range of charities, schools and good causes in the areas in which CALA operates. In 2017, 118 initiatives across the country received a share of more than £100,000, including homelessness charity The Kindness Project.

Jim McIntyre, regional managing director for CALA Homes (West), says: “CALA has always been committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to the communities in which it builds, through an active programme of local charity donations, community support and sponsorship. The community bursary scheme gives us the chance to find out exactly what support is needed locally and provides the opportunity for charities and groups of all sizes to apply for funds.”

Help to Buy available on new homes launching in North Finchley

Rosebay House​With Troy Homes in the final stages of completing work on eight one- and two-bedroom apartments on Friern Park in North Finchley, the company has announced that Help to Buy London will be available there.

With a preview event taking place today (Thursday 15 March), house-hunters looking for a home in north London will have a first chance to see details about the properties under construction and their introductory prices.

Each apartment will be finished to a high specification. This includes high-gloss kitchen units with quartz worktops and upstands, Siemens appliances, Villeroy and Boch sanitaryware and Amtico flooring. Homebuyers will also have the opportunity to customise their apartments with various colour choices if they buy off-plan. Each home also comes with its own outdoor space and parking

The London Borough of Barnet is a popular one for people looking for an address in the capital, with easy access into and around the city and places further afield, with the M25, A1(M) and M1 in close proximity.

Release of refurbished homes in the Chilterns this week

Annington Homes is releasing two properties in Walters Ash, Buckinghamshire this Friday 16 March which have been refurbished by the developer to a new build feel. 

These are two refurbished two-bedroom, semi-detached homes in a desirable village setting in one of the South East’s most scenic areas. The release of these homes will be followed on Friday 20 April with another release, this time of two three-bedroom, semi-detached homes, which will be available to reserve off-plan.

Launch of new homes in Harlesden this weekend

Housebuilders Hyde New Homes and Hill are joining forces to launch RemixHelix in Harlesden, north-west London, this weekend, with a variety of apartments coming to the market for the first time.

The development is part of a 30-year regeneration project in the area and will provide 34 one- and two-bedroom flats, with prices starting at £399,950 and £459,950 respectively.
